Weird thing with me, I'm from Upstate NY, around the Finger Lakes region, but my accent literally sounds like a Southern accent and a Boston accent combined.

This is very far from the strongest NY accent. She probably does even know a Joey.

Im from upstate New York and we speak completely different from NYC. like when I say water it comes out as "wAHter" every word with an a in the middle for i extend it into an "ah" another example would be "dAHg (dog)"
