The giant rubber foot that looks kind of like a multi point star is amazing for stability too, there’s floor contact at most angles

What advantages does it have over a forearm crutch?

The StrongArm Comfort Cane is designed to combine some advantages of both a cane and a forearm crutch. Here's how it might stack up against a forearm crutch: Advantages of StrongArm Comfort Cane: Reduced Wrist Strain: The StrongArm Cane has an ergonomic forearm grip that distributes weight more evenly, potentially reducing pressure on your wrist compared to a forearm crutch which relies on a single point of contact on your forearm. Although, we’ve had a few viewers tell us the StrongArm Cane causes wrist pain for them. More Maneuverable: Being a single pole design like a cane, the StrongArm Cane might be easier to navigate in tight spaces compared to bulkier forearm crutches. May Require Less Upper Body Strength: While it offers more support than a cane, the StrongArm Cane's design might require less upper body strength to use than forearm crutches which rely on the armrest for support. Important Considerations: Weight Capacity: Make sure the StrongArm Cane's weight capacity is sufficient for your needs. Forearm crutches typically have a higher weight capacity. Overall Support: Forearm crutches generally offer more overall stability and support than the StrongArm Cane, especially for individuals with significant mobility limitations. Ultimately, the best choice depends on your specific needs and situation. Here's when a StrongArm Comfort Cane might be a good option: You need some extra support and stability compared to a regular cane, but still want some maneuverability. You experience wrist pain when using a traditional forearm crutch. You have some upper body weakness but can still manage some weight on the affected leg. It's important to consult your doctor or a local physical therapist to determine if the StrongArm Comfort Cane is right for you. They can assess your needs and recommend the most appropriate mobility aid. Hope this helps, 🥰🥰 Christina & Cindy - AECorner.com

I bought this stick and honestly it is the most awful cane I've ever had. The hand grip is huge, probably designed large male hands. It's also incredibly tall. The arm support actually digs into your arm if you put pressure on the stick. And it's quite uncomfortable.

Thank you so much for your feedback, Jacqueline! It's so essential to hear different perspectives. What did you think about using it as a stand assist?
