STRONG wind on an AMAZING kitespot -
CRAZY strong wind in Portugal! I just discovered this amazing spot. I was supposed to go to Tarifa but decided due to the no wind forecast to drive down to Portugal. The forecast looked very good for some days so I stayed there to train and make this vlog :) The spot is called Obidos, close to Peniche. The people are very friendly and the little restaurants are quite cool. It's also very easy to stay with a camper van. Big parking spots and you can decide to sleep on several spots for free or stay at a camping 500m from the spot. I enjoyed spending time there so definitely a good kite destination to visit if you want some wind in Europe. If you have any questions, comment below and I will try to answer them :)

Yes! You flew in to my memories and my home. Lagoa Óbidos! Uau. The place is magical. Make sure you visit the sailing school there and meet the locals. It is so nice to see my country from your adventurous and fascinating kite flights! I am living in China for 20 years and today you made me smile. Thanks.

Sick sesion in an amazing spot! So jealous as the wind is just about done for the season here. Little kites are so much fun in the big wind and so quick to pump up. Maybe next time put some sand on your bag to stop it blowing away though..LOL! 😁

Gosh I can't wait till I can get this. I've been out like 6 times by myself and just barely learning to get up.. but then I sink.. or it's too windy like that and I have a 12m. And yer cute. Cute raspy voice 😊
One of the best spots in Portugal, next you should go to Praia do Cabedelo in Viana do Castelo! :)

Ja hele gave spot! Wij waren hier 2019 met onze camper. De wind was iets minder sterk 😜 Ik (Nicole) ging toen uit met de Flysurfer 15 meter en was de enige op het water. Ook een bijzondere ervaring. Veel plezier nog in Portugal! Ga je ook nog naar Viana? Erg vette spot ook!

I spend 3 weeks here two years ago and had 1 session with 15-20 knots. Glad to see you guys got lucky with some proper conditions.
