Looks like it was a great Father’s Day. I didn’t know you could fish a flutter spoon like this. Thanks for showing the technique.

Absolutley, definitely a great day, and yeah very fun way to fish for sure!
Wow! That’s awesome!
Power reeling with the spoon. Love it! Sounds like you added a thumper to the boat too. Great video OCJ.

You got that right!
What part of the lake was it and about what time of day was it? So exciting to see this but not able to locate any fish yet. Got all the gears but no fish yet. Would like to get my 11 yrs old on some fish for him to keep going out with me 😅

Hi, the bulk of the stripers will be south of the 53 bridges this time of the year. I usually fish in the morning during early summer. I can say you’re not alone it took me a long time (many outings) before I had real consistent success. To speed up the learning curve maybe check out a striper club and a guide trip. I have many videos about fishing for stripers especially in summer. Find the bait, find the fish, but I spend alot of time hunting / searching for these fish.
Hey Jack what brand of spoons are you using?

@@jollington Hey I mainly use the Nichol Lures Ben Parker Flutter Spoon in the mini 2oz and 3.5oz. For smaller flutter spoons I like the Flutter Jack from bass pro shops…
