Been to night safari many times as a kid and it’s the blueprint for so many of my zoo builds - they had a live show with a surprise twist in it too !

I look forward to seeing it myself!
Stunning I can’t play at the moment as I have a clingy 1 year old that cries when I sit at my computer so these videos are a lifeline to my fav game! Thank you for sharing your creativity and skill!

Aw thanks Caitlin, glad you can enjoy it vicariously through me 😁 Hopefully you can play it yourself again soon!
I have been to Night Safari! You see both more and less. In the dark it's easier for animals to hide, but at the same time nocturnal ones are more active. And it has a very different effect when you're looking into an enclosure, and then a hyena steps out of the totall darkness. And also they have a pangolin which are very rare in zoos, so it's the only time I've seen one.

I have been since I made this video! I loved it!
The Singapore Zoo has 3 separate parts to it (4 if you include their bird park in another part of the city): you have a regular zoo, the night safari and a river boat safari. Some animals you can only see through one of them, some in two of them, meaning you have to buy 4 tickets to see all animals haha but the whole thing is INCREDIBLE! I’m pretty sure it won a few zoo awards! I loved the jeep tour at night so much, a tapir sat right next to my leg at one point 🥰 I’ve been there in 2017, so I’m not sure how much it might have changed by now! The enclosure is beautiful, I love how it is modern but still cozy! It’s perfect for the skunks! 🥰

Ooh I'm jealous! I wonder if there's a discount for buying all 4? Not that I'm planning a trip to Singapore anytime soon but one day I will! Thanks for the info & glad you liked the habitat!

@@ZSHplays I’m pretty sure there was a discount! There definitely was one where you could choose 3 out of the 4 to go to, which is why we didn’t go on the boat safari at first because we totally misunderstood it and thought is was an aquarium at first lol but the bird park is beautiful, so can absolutely recommend doing all 4 things when you’re ever there and have the time 💛

@@zoosaurus You are all pretty right. Just for your information, Singapore now has moved the bird park from Jurong to Mandai, where Zoo and Night safari is located at, all in Mandai. Bird park now has a new name called Bird Paradise. A new rainforest park is now on construction. in future, there will be 5 parks under Mandai Wildlife Reserve.
Gorgeous build! The skunk is the one animal from the recent pack for which I struggle a bit to come up with unique habitat design ideas, so this video came highly appreciated.

Thanks Fabian! Glad it was inspiring!
About decals: I know in London Zoo the reason for stickers on the glass of gorilla enclosure was because the silverback didn't like people (especially men) and would get territorial and bang on the glass sometimes. So they put stickers to give him a sence of privacy and a visual barrier.

That’s really interesting, thanks!
The tree decals on the Windows could serve any number of functions. It may keep birds from flying into the windows and killing themselves. I know a lot of Zoo's put stickers on there glass fronted enclosures for that very reason. Or it could be to keep the animals more secure and comfortable.

Yeh I've seen the bird stickers to prevent collisions, maybe this is just a much cooler version of that!
I have never been to Singapore Night Safari but I would love to go there.

I've bingewatched the whole of Moonlight World yesterday, this zoo is amazing. But this gotta be my favorite build from it. I gotta admit, I like square builds and the idea of "closed box with a window for viewing" has been on my mind for a while. But I wasn't sure how to pull it off nicely. This build hits that mark just perfectly! The inside is small, but every inch is used perfectly to fill it with enrichment and plants, it looks busy and lively inside, even in the dark. And the outside looks realistic yet charming. I enjoyed watching how it all came together. A very inspiring idea and a great way to display smaller animals. I will try a similar style for a meerkat enclosure. My guests keep complaining that they can't see those well. Thank you for the great video!

Thanks KriemiX! Although I prefer franchise mode, sandbox does allow you to build cute little habitats like this which I love to do. Enjoy your Meerkat build!
Hi ZSH! I’m a recent subscriber and I think you should create a very vertical environment in a rocky, filled with ferns, redwood forest set in the evening. I’m also new to the different animals in planet zoo but I think you know what could go with my suggested scene!

A friend from Singapore thought it could be the fishing cat. It fits the size of the animal. I first read the title as Sunk Forest and with those tree stickers on the windows gave me a great idea to work into a Florida style swamp.

Hey ZHSPlays, great habitat! I’ve actually been to Singapore Night Safari since Singapore is very close to where I grew up (I’m from Indonesia), but I don’t recall a habitat looking like that before (then again, I was quite young when I went there, so my memory is a bit hazy). But yeah, the Night Safari is great, I knew I enjoyed it as a kid. Hoping that I can go back there soon
