Great footage. thanks for sharing. As I've never worked in mining before, I don't understand exactly what these trucks are doing. Looks like some of the trucks are hauling coal out, going up a haul road? and there's other trucks moving material from one place to another, near the bottom of the pit area? Is that just a sort of overburden or spoils they are getting out of the way? I guess I don't have an eye for it. I can't tell by looking at it, which material is coal and which material is maybe something else.

Why don’t they just use a diamond pick

Radiators are heat rejection devices. Why would you want to shield them from cold?

when they’re done with an area here in wv most of the time they build ponds! the grass grows back and nature starts to take over again. it’s really beautiful tbh
