Glass Alchemy has some very good reading on this subject and can allow you to bring out some crazy effects like metallic shimmer and really deep strikes and shows you how to burn off the silver first and regenerate it to get way better colors instead of the tan haze from dense silver

Oxygen doesn't make them strike it's the heat although flame chemistry can effect the surface haze and with a hot flame you can burn all the hard off the surface and keep it off the surface with a oxidizing flame and then when you are done sculpting you can redo the haze or luster with a neutral or reducing flame and you can get metallic looking luster out of some colors. The striking colors should be worked hot and when you are done sculpting let the glow fade and reheat in the back of the flame till you get desired shade. A kiln can also be used for striking colors with great effect

Yes I am planning to purchase the didy clip which I believe is the camera filter that can pick up what I am working on in the flame. Thank you supporting the channel 😃
