I am going through the hardest time of my life at the moment and really really struggling with my mental health along with addiction. I cant remember the last time i laughed... like properly laughed, i started to forget what it felt like and i kid you not iv been watching him on KZread for a couple of hours and my belly is hurting iv been laughing that much i have tears rolling down my face. The kind of laughs where you hold your breath and the laugh turns silent cause u can't catch your breath hahaha!!! This man is just phenomenal and is and was completely underestimated. 90s legend! I used to watch you on an evening with my nan after id had a bath and i was sitting infront of the old school fire place in the living room lol wow memory unlocked!! Makes me a bit emotion haha. Just amazing man thanku micheal for making me laugh again we love you and need you back on our screens. People like you cure the world and make it a better place you really do. ❤

Bloody brilliant and so needed this today, i had forgot how funny Michaels shows were.. worse thing the TV done was to let him go.. this is real entertainment at its best.

Great memories, true entertainment back when I was a kid! If only quiz shows were as much fun and with as good prizes as there were in the 80s!

I remember watching this at home with the family we were all absolutely pissing ourselves laughing

Absolute legend....me and my mum went to see Freddie Starr in the 70s when I was a kid, and MB was the support act - he got my mum up on stage, had her doing Swan Lake, and gave her a packet of Paxo stuffing with his picture stuck to it as a memento. Brilliant on this programme.....big shame about the whole swimming pool incident, ruined his career.

You'll never beat the 90s...

I remember watching him on TV in the early 90s still learning to speak English, not understanding a word he said yet mesmerised and often in stitches watching his antics. I think that's the best compliment I can give him. A national treasure this chap is. ❤

Love this guy he needs to be back on tv now. He is just like bruce Forsyth the way he jokes with his contestants and jokingly telling them off.

I am waiting repeats of the fabulous Michael Barrymore in 2022 , this gentleman is a genius with people and he should be back on our tv screens, there will never be a true natural comedian with members of the living public in memory again , please bring back the genius into the 21st Century

I love watching these old programmes - but it makes me sad. You realise how much people have changed. Back in the day people were "real" with personalities. Compare that to people nowadays and its quite alarming - all about looks, less about personality. I miss the 90s

I came across this by accident. Christ he was good. Fact. Saw him in a record breaking summer season at Great Yarmouth once at The Royalty. Hysterical. He got me up on stage twice and chucked my mate out of the theatre. He went 45 minutes over and just ended up sitting on the stagefront talking with everyone. It was just a brilliant night. A top top professional

He was (is) so talented. Had such a good way with older folk. Missed on our screens very much.

Such a great entertainer he was, and still could be. Bring him and these shows back. I remember so well that little guy(Eric) who kept falling back on the chair so well...what a lovely man he was.

It's a crying shame that the incident in Michael barrymore swimming pool. more or less wrecked his career.....He was wonderful and had that wonderful way. with th public that had everyone reduced to tears of laughter in no time .... Barrymore was a brilliant compère/presenter. One of the best. Such a shame what has happened to him.

What a reminder of how brilliant he was. And all the older generation having a great time. This is comedy gold.. Where did it all go wrong. Nothing on television like this now days. Maybe Ant and Dec but that's it.

whatever you think of him, the first 10 minutes of each show was fantastic and Lenny here made that particular episode the best ever

There are funny people and there are people who were born to be funny. Barry was a natural on TV, who had great chemistry with the audience and contestants. These old school game shows were much better than the reality TV shows you see today on TV. You could sit around the TV with the family, get involved with answering the questions and have a laugh. Great times.

This makes you realise how bad TV in general has become

This was a perfect combination of an incredibly personable host and wonderful personalities from the contestants that you just don't get any more - what a legendary show!

When you watch this you realise how much we've missed Michael Barrymore. In my opinion he was the very best

I literally have tears in my eyes with laughter after watching that! Absolutely brilliant! Takes me back to being a teenager and watching this with my Nan. She used to absolutely love him! Best of British! It's a shame his name got dragged so much through the mud and his career ended as a resulted. He's got his name cleared now and an official apology from the police, but that doesn't make up for everything he has lost as a result.

it cant be underestimated how massive michael barrymore was in the 80s to the 90s, he was easily ITV's biggest star back then with this show, my kind of music in the 90s and his own prime time show barrymore on saturday nights, i am only 29 but as a very young child i remember seeing these shows alongside favourites such as gladiators and noel's house party on the other channel bbc1 and the memories are very vivid to anyone living back then.

Makes you wish there was an episode which was just Barrymore chatting to the contestants, and by the time they got to the game, they had to roll the end credits.

Before i retired lol. Love it. This was great in the day, man I miss everything about the 90s not just saturday nights but everything, games, people, tv, movies and life in general.

Credit where credit is due, Barrymore was a fantastic host, he really did seem to get the best out of people.
