Being a nurse, I have had patients that have gone through what you have. The Lord has blessed you and you are very strong. God has been so good to me Peter, the Scripture says the steps of a righteous man are taken by the Lord. I have learned so much mercy and compassion for others with the sickness. The fact is that I’ve become thankful for this disability, because it has made me a better person. I still am in the Molly Grubbs at days when I can’t pick up a railroad tie or much less fencepost. But through it all God has made me a more patient loving compassionate man. Which our world certainly needs more hours. Merry Christmas and a happy new year. Thank you Luke

@@BacktotheBasics101 HI Luke, I'm glad to hear you are doing well in your battle against the illness you have. Proud of your strength and glad your family is there for you to give you the love you need to help you fight throughout the periods of weakness. There are many that deal with illnesses that are alone and don't have the love of the family to give the support they need. You are a lucky man for that. And I'm proud of your family for being there beside you. Keep up the positive mindset and happy holidays for you and your family too.

Your a good steward of the land. I enjoy the videos. I'm a police officer and have a cattle spread also. I have been building up my herd on land I grew up on that my grandfather left me and made every step he did on these fences that I was definitely blessed and grateful for that my grandfather left to me when I came home from multiple deployments in the Marines. I know what your going through with equipment breaking down. All my equipment and trucks are old and worn out but I don't guess I would want it any other way. I'm solo 99 percent of the time. Where do you find a woman who is as much in love with agriculture and working the land as you do? Most women I have found are materialistic and looking to get you sunk in debt on a house in the middle of a city a thousand miles away. Which I'm not going down that road. I'll just keep checking fences and hope an pray for better days. Sorry for the vent. God bless.

If you put a stick or the handle of your hammer between the plier handles you can get a lot more power when stretching the wire. I hope things get better brother.

As I was editing the video I thought to myself, this is an actually rocket science Luke I should’ve just stuck a stick through the handle. Sometimes I learn more from my videos then I think the whole world does. “Life is hard but it’s harder when you’re stupid “John Wayne I’m definitely trying it next time and thank you for thinking about it. The show is meant not to say this is the only way but how I’ve learned over the years. Always love hearing a better way of doing something. Love the input. Thanks for watching. Luke

Have you heard of Plammers? Using them to do a splice is much easier by having more leverage.

Were you checked for Lyme Disease too? That can do some similar things but often no one tests for it.

I don't know if this would help but it has helped some with Chronic Lyme Disease symptoms. I prayed and asked for help and got strep throat. I can't take most antibiotics so I took high doses of Vit C that was buffered with sodium. Powdered form of Vit C. Oddly after my strep was gone I noticed more energy and less swelling of joints so I kept taking it. It gave me, at least partial, remission. What I got was from a company called Trivita. 10 years later and several Chronic Lyme patients are now saying are getting partial to full relief of symptoms from using it. Pray about it and see if the Lord leads you to try that. What ever He leads you to do is what you should do. Often very trying times like this leads us into being more dependent on Him. It can be a blessing in disguise. If you have a go fund me, patreon or paypal I'm sure you have subscribers that would like to help you. God Bless you.

moviemakerwannabe I don’t have any PayPal or anything like that. We’re still trying to make it on our own. Very much appreciate the help I’m not too proud to take out her used to be, but now I realize being on the other side of things. It stops the blessing of others to give if we are too proud to take help at times. At this point we are still keeping the wolf away from the door. 😆 I am very curious about this vitamin C shot. Thank you for the tip. Luke
