what's up everyone! we're starting a new show, "the bear"! this first episode of "the bear" was incredible. during the reaction i felt the frantic energy of the kitchen and the stress carmy is under. i'm so excited to continue "watching the bear" and reacting alongside all of you. i'm loving the characters of richie, sydney, marcus, tina and fak! they're all so full of life and colored in with personality. thank you all so much for watching my "reaction" of "the bear" and listening to my "commentary" after. i can't wait to keep reacting to this series.

This is a show that gets better and better with every single episode. I hope you LOVE it!
Just to avoid some misconception - the Best New Chef award that Carmy won is for Head Chefs who are running their own kitchen (the new part just means less than 5 years running a kitchen), so this is not his first time, he's been doing it in fine dining restaurants.
Also, Fak is Matty Matheson, who is a very famous chef and restaurateur IRL, and also a producer on the show. While the actors did undergo several months in real kitchens while training for this role, he’s the only real chef on the show-which is funny because he’s just the family friend handyman who doesn’t touch food 😅

@@michelleneedsahobby Also, Fak the repairman is played by real life chef Matty Matheson. He is also a producer and culinary consultant on the show. And he has his own KZread cooking channel.

11:13 - not unknown pills. those were antacids, a standard over the counter substance for heartburn/indigestion relief. that's what the container it comes in looks like, but it is uncannily similar looking to a vaseline container, so I understand the confusion. 😂

It’s such a stressful, fast show! My twin brother is a chef and he says it’s all completely realistic as compared to working in a real kitchen. Apparently the showmakers went a long way toward making sure that was the case. This show is incredibly character-driven over the existing two seasons and it’s so satisfying.
