The Bridges exercise is great for strengthening your glute muscles (your butt), as well as your hamstrings (back of the legs) and your lower back. If your back is stiff when you wake up in the morning then this is a great exercise you can do before you even get out of bed. If your sciatica starts acting up or your lower back starts hurting when you're sitting, then drop on the floor and knock out 10-20 reps of the Bridges exercise so you can get some relief. Craig Zuckerman first shows you exactly how to do the Bridges exercise, and then runs through twenty reps of the exercise for you to follow along too.
