According to an interview Yuzo confirmed that the bass was indeed based on Enigma's track.

SoR 2 missed just one thing to be the perfect - the ability to throw enemies off from the elevator. Stage 7 from SoR 1 is the most fun stage ever on any SoR game.

My first Megadrive game ever and the first video game I ever owned :) One of Segas greatest titles. But as much as I hate to admit it, the SOR1 intro was much better.

The game I grew up on!

I was always afraid of this intro way back in the day

This is an altered version of SoR1's Title Theme. The original is much better though. This is missing the best part of the track IMO.

Has anybody asked themselves or even know just how Mr. X came back to life? That's not something you'd normally find in a gritty pre-cyberpunk story set much closer to reality than fantasy.

Enigma - Principles Of Lust ?

Does anybody else think that this song was inspired by the song "sadeness" from the band Enigma? Everytime I was playing this game, I was saying to myself "I know this song!" but I couldn't remember where I had heard the it, until today...

I am not sure what your emulator did there but this Quality is not original Sega MD one. I talk about the synth wave the disorted one of 0:25 it sounds rather destroyed in comparsion to the original. It should be way less hearable and less disorted in the original. 22050Hz is maybe the old Sound Range if you want the original this is fine but if you want quality you should be at last at a range of 44100Hz i preferably use 48000Hz and would go higher if this was supported by my speakers. Also this is why i can't say this is HQ or HD.

100% agreed. I love sor2 but 1 had it beat on level atmosphere and soundtrack imo.

I always used to think this was a funny intro because grimus from Mcdonalds and thanos wants to rule the city
