Street Racing Channel S10 Steering and Front Suspension Setup at Lucore Automotive!

Billy and the Street Racing Channel team have that little S10 back in one piece and fired up with his new motor and all new front suspension setup, so it's OUR turn to help get it dialed in! With the huge changes made to the front half of the truck this is basically starting over from scratch, new tubular K member, new tubular upper and lower control arms, new steering rack, new bump steer kit... it's all new! So here we go, let's set him up a good baseline to go test!
As with everything in the custom alignment and suspension setup world you really never know what all you are getting into or how long it's going to take. It's honestly even hard to estimate because every car or truck is different, even if they are exactly the same parts they could be installed slightly different. Or the vehicle they are installed on could be slightly different... when we're talking in tenths of degrees every little bit is a big deal. As with Bill and The Old Man's Garage Malibu, or really any custom drag racing alignment we do it's the fine measurements and tolerances that take the time. This isn't a "Toe and Go" kind of deal!
Custom race car alignments, custom alignments, lift alignments, lowered alignments, regular every day nor daily driver alignments whatever it is we do them all here and we do our best for each and every customer. However when we're talking racing application we make sure to be extra super duper careful to get all of this right because a mistake or failure at these speeds can very literally mean the difference between life and death.
Huge thanks as always to all our subscribers, followers, fans, and customers who have made our business successful and gotten our channel to where it is today. Special thanks to the SRC / Street Racing Channel / SRC Garage / Old Man's Garage / Junkyard Digs folks for showing such amazing support for us over the past several months. Without all of you we wouldn't be anywhere near where we are today. We hope you enjoy this one!

Very interesting Rich. And I can vouch for the Green Lock-Tite. We use it on some parts that if they come lose, And out of adjustment. It would be ALL BAD for the operator. And could lead to serious injury or death. And thank you for the PSA on the loosening bolts on the upper control arms. One of those coming lose at the big end of a run could be a catastrophic ending for the driver and anyone near the car.

Sound: The fact that you are in a working shop with ambient noise isn't an issue, we understand. What you could do to help is to use a mic, if you voice is clear the other sounds are less important. When you record a second separate sound source you can adjust levels in editing. Other KZread mechanics I watch are using clip on radio mics. Allen from the Skid Factory often has his clipped to his hat. Dealing with multiple sound sources does add extra complexity to editing but would make a massive difference to overall video quality.
