This, THIS is the reason I got into skylines. I was barely 10 years old when I first watched this. I can't even count how times I would check out these clips over and over again. Now, at 31 years of age I'm very happy to have my own R33.

I think the original source is from a Japanese Video Magazine called "Video Option". They have a youtube channel.

Any OG knows this is the Original 02 - 2003 VHS from Video Option, this was before any Exvitermini or whatever existed, straight OG from 🇯🇵

Is there anywhere where I can find the original full video from that? This video is basically how I got into Skylines and what made me buy my own r33 2 years ago.

I remember downloading this on Kazaa or something like that when I was in middle school. I wrote a research paper on GT-R's in 8th grade and my email has been rb26dett32 for literally 25 years. Now I own an r32, r33, r34 and daily a fbo r35 and have a built 4.1 r35. It's so crazy how we are influenced at such a young age to do some really stupid shit lol.

I just wanna point out something; Look at the atmosphere. Yes there's some really insane machines here, but everyone's relaxed, everyone's happy and smiling. No big ego dudes talking shit or acting like babies, just nice people have a good ol' time with their Skylines. This video is what I saw way, way before KZread was even a thing. Now I have an r33 of my own

Up until now I only saw the short version it all makes sence now cheers..

one of the first videos i ever saw back in the days, always wondered what these cars ran back then, some clips where tagged with 10sec names they look really fast. back in that time tuning was mostly HKS/greedy bolt-on's and piggyback ecu's EMU & FCON, stock drivetrain, no like nowdays with sequential, standalones and super expensive tuning.

i remember using emule & that other shit to download all the clips of this event

They different class, this is street drag in the 2000s, they are using street radials and all the Rs are street legal, Ozzies cars are more purpose built with newer tech
