Hello there, hungry two! 😊 (Not hungry four 😅😊) The dishes in this episode seems close to southeast Asian cuisine, especially with ingredients like rice coconut, swamp cabbage, (unripe jackfruit), and eggplants to name a few. The mix of tomatoes, onions, and green chillies are sort of common PH household "side dish" to fried/grilled grilled fish and meat. I also grew up eating my share of fried eggplants before deciding I like them better roasted. I am very interested in the ginger beer. I might attempt making one for myself some time. 😊 Another very nice episode, thanks for sharing. See you two next meal.✨️🫰🏻😊

Cris, we agree there were a few similarities in the cuisine here in Galle to SEAsian. The curries with coconut milk were delish, actually all the curries were just so flavourful and tasty. The food in Sri Lanka is seriously incredible, we're really enjoying exploring it. Ginger beer is such a good drink, let us know if you try it yourself! Thanks for watching and commenting😊🧡

Happy I was always stocked, and happy in Queretaro since 2021 at 79. I always stocked up in the USA also. I do share with honest none beggars. Happy to shop online for home delivery 70% less expensive in Mexico. Use a bank, that refunds ATM fees.

Even without chili powder or flakes, the addition of sugar and tamarind pulp is enough to give it that dark caramel color.(trust me, I've made it many a time). I think, as with most touristy places, they change the recipe to suit foreinge palates, and still use the original name.@@lance202520

😂😂😂 Galle fort area accommodation and restaurants are up market, It's not expensive. Even as locals we pay the same prices. This is a world heritage site you are talking about 😅 Cheap things no good Good things no Cheap Out side Fort in galle Town things are differently price
