    Yo man thank you so much for being such a rock for the Manon community. This will be an excellent help for people like myself to understand what she can do and why she wants to do it. This is incredibly in depth and I thank you for putting the time in to make it. It seemed that while many of the original guides were still technically relevant they were all from when the game first launched. It's great to see up to date content for her. One random piece of info: You can actually OD Renverse Chun-Li's OD Tensho Kicks after you get a knockdown with LK Degage. It's a really weird interaction because the hit is oddly jarring but it does work. More expensive than DI in that situation but actually gives you something solid.

    Genuinely the most useful guide I've seen for a fighting game character. I'm diamond 5 and learned a crazy amount of good advice, I was really struggling with her pressure and oki game

    Here's couple more tips. -After landing lvl 2 as a reversal, you can dash up and heavy punch for meaty. -The combo at 1:09:20 instead of doing crmp > bhp > 236hk > lvl3 on the last dr cancel, do bhp > crmp > lk > 236hk > lvl3 for more damage. -If you are built different and you got that dawg on him, after a hit grab you can dash up to be -5 point blank which is just 1 frame enough to block an OD dp in time. You can also try to heavy cmd grab after the dash, because being minus is a mindset. -DR bhp is +5 on block so you can medium cmd grab or mp as a frame trap. -Remember the camera shake """buff""" they added on PC spin kick follow up instead of actually fixing spin, cry, forget, repeat.

    Normally dashing after hit grab will get you jabbed or thrown, not recommended. For DR bHP, it only works on oki or deep meaty. Without those, the pushback is so much that most stuff will whiff.

    Weird question: can you lose in a Time Over if the timer runs out while you're in the middle of a Level 5 command grab? I noticed it takes a whopping 2.5 second approximately for it to register the damage.

    Funny thing i learned is if you do back HP into od hitgrab kick it only stops jamies od shuryu

    I'd love to have invincible command grabs like in SF4. Make them do the medal 1 damage and not give a medal I would still take it.

    Mura I am so mad. I was watching grand final of the TNS SF6 tournament #52 and it was Idom’s Manon vs Nuckledu’s Guile. Idom played so well all tournament even knocking Nuckledu to losers in winners final. However in GF Nuckledu just reverted to throwing booms and blaze then go back and keep a big distance from Manon whilst letting the blaze linger and act as a barrier so she can’t come forward. Then boom and blaze again and then drive rush and attack. Then repeat. It was so cheap and disgusting. Why capcom cannot see the issue’s Manon has fighting characters like this is mind boggling. It made it more clear to me what buffs she needs. There are many but I will mention my main ones and I would like to hear your feedback. That would be much appreciated. Also apologies before hand for the long message. Manon Buffs as follows: 1) (Lets get the obvious out the way) Improved invulnerable frames for her anti-projectile spin with the OD version having a quicker sequence of action and going a little bit further. 2) Repurpose her ballerina (dégagé) move set. Turn the light kick one (floor spin sweep) and heavy kick one (overhead kick) into command normals (unique attacks). The reason why, is so that she can play the drive rush game like all the other characters do without being able to drive rush command throw from distance. This would also allow her to close down distances more effectively when players resort to spacing away from her at mid/far range, and then suddenly drive rush attack in at her and then go back to mid/far range spacing. Since both ballerina attacks (floor spin sweep/overhead kick) move her quite a bit forward to poke opponents; having those attacks as command normals means she can drive rush with them and extend her drive rush/drive rush inertia with these moves (similar to Ed drive rushing with his superman punch). She would also be able to play the drive rush overhead or low attack guessing game against opponents which is very common and useful in the game. By becoming a command normal the heavy ballerina would lose its OD version however the drive rush version would mean the moves, sequence of action would be faster and go further anyway. As for combo-ing off it (like in the OD version); the command normal change could allow for Manon to combo from it when the opponent’s at the corner or/and if it hits on punish counter. The medium ballerina kick version (air spin kicks) would now become the special move with four different versions (light/medium/heavy/OD) with the heavy kick version being what the move is currently. The OD version would have a quicker sequence of action and would be projectile invulnerable. The light and medium versions would just be one spin kick (instead of two), would have a quicker startup than the heavy and would knockdown the opponent (but no corner carry). The light version would have Manon jump in place (no forward movement) whilst the medium would move her a bit forward (just as if she done the usual move but it stopped at the first kick). The light version would have slightly faster startup however. 3) Repurpose her side switch floor kick move (tomoe derriere / 3HK). Turn it into a special move with four different versions (light/medium/heavy/OD) with all versions always side switching and low profiling (so Manon cannot be hit by standing/high attacks when doing the move). The light version would have her lay down in place whilst she kicks out. This way it works better as an anti air attack when opponents jump in right above her. The medium version would be like how it is now and so allow her to anti air opponents who jump slightly in front of her as well catching opponents on the ground. The heavy version would be the same as the medium but she would move a little bit further ahead when she lays down and kicks. This way she catches opponents who jump in from further away but land close by or opponents on the ground further away but are close by. The OD version would move her as far as the heavy version or as close as the light version automatically based on how far or close the opponent is. All versions except the OD version would knockdown the opponent on hit. The OD version would be safe on block and would put the opponent into a juggle state on hit which Manon could combo off. It would also have a quicker sequence of action and be projectile invulnerable. This way this move would become so much more usable and would give more options to Manon to evade standing/high attacks and projectiles. Please let me know what you think?

    @@MCMuraFGC It may be drastic but I think drastic measures may be needed to make her top tier and highly competitive. But I dont think it’s that drastic. It’s just rearranging and in some cases improving the moves she has already. Anyway I hope in coming patches they buff her properly. Otherwise they are letting an excellent character go to waste.
