I feel like they both switch place about their fate Before Ryu always had trouble with his Setsu No Hado taking iver him which cause to be Evil Ryu that went on to kill everyone as well his grudge with Akuma While Ken is having a good life, have family,good business and know how to help his friend Ryu from being Evil Now that we enter SF6 Ryu finally let go his Grudge against Akuma as well able to control the Setsu No Hado with peace and now he take over his master place to find someone to succeed his martial arts While Ken on other hand, he now having problem for being framed as terrorist that attack the Nayshal causing him to lose his face which make him to abandoned his family for the safety and on his mission to find the True Culprits behind the attack

​@@orochi20 no it's not. The life we see evil Ryu live is a what if but evil Ryu is actually the side of Ryu who beat Sagat and left the scar on his chest. Then later when Ryu took a devastating blow to the chest evil Ryu saved his life similar to Ichigo in Bleach. He does appear from time to time in the story of SF but only for a fight. To further prove this when we see Ryu have his inner struggles against his darker half we see evil Ryu. Not a generic shadow. Ryu is also genuinely scared of it too because seeing what happened to Sagat traumatized him.

I like to think Jamie’s ending and Luke’s ending are both different endings and they just NEVER rememeber each other.

I love Luke and Jamie’s rivalry so much. They’re both really wholesome guys in certain ways, but also cocksure asswipes in other ways and it means they legitimately can’t stand each other.

I love how Deejay is just doing his own thing and still making music. In Ryu's arcade win screen against Deejay, Ryu mentions how there's not much depth to Deejay's fighting style, but no darkness in it either, which he considers a good thing. It seems to imply that Deejay never really fights that seriously and is just jamming to the beat the whole time. Not to mention that lore-wise, throwing out projectiles with one hand is considered a master-level move (one of the reasons Akuma throwing out Hadoukens with one hand or Charlie doing Sonic Booms with a kick is such a huge thing in-lore). And Deejay just casually tosses out projectiles from each hand while dancing. Which begs the question just how strong Deejay actually is he fights with serious intent...

Deejay canonically served Bison’s ass to him in Alpha 3 after taking down Sagat. He’s canonically REALLY strong, he just doesn’t take fighting that seriously.

@@fiercetatsu6782 Dan is pretty impressive for a guy who is mostly self taught. I know more recent cannon states that he did get some training but he got kicked out pretty early. He managed to develop energy projectiles which are canonically hard for even a master martial artist to perform. Dan unfortunately is so pigheaded and mentally weak that he can't grow any further despite the natural talent he has. Also props to Sakura who has some of the best potential in the franchise as she is also self taught.

I love how Blanka is one of the only "monster" of the Street Fighter world, while also being one of the most wholesome and adorable character in the entire franchise.

Damn man, it hurts seeing Ken this destroyed. In many ways, he was Ryu's anchor whenever his Dark Hadou was threatening to take over, always there for him, even when Ryu didn't ask. Now that the situation has been reverse, it actually seriously annoys me that Ryu takes no real interest in reaching out to Ken and trying to return the literal *DECADES* of support Ken has provided over the years. He waits on the sidelines for Ken to speak up but clearly, Ken needs help now and he's too headstrong to ask out of fear of others getting caught up in his business. Ryu, you're so engulfed by combat that you don't understand the people closest to you.

Yeah. SF6 is where Ryu has achieved true peace and conquered his demons, while Ken is on the run at his absolute lowest. It’s kind of crazy that Capcom actually went for that kind of contrast.

In World Tour, if you talk to Ryu when you’re bonded high enough, he said he’ll wait until Ken talks to him. He cares, but felt like Ken just wants handle things himself.

Yeah. It shows how even if he wasn't sure about Ken at first, given how he initially was, he loves his brother-in-law, which is why he wants to help him. I know Ken is hesitant for help after what JP did to him in Nayshall, but he _NEEDS_ help, even if he doesn't _WANT_ it.

@@timothyharris1125 He definitely is as devious as Bison, though he tries to restrain the evil in his heart as leader of Amnesia. Meanwhile, Bison ACCEPTED the evil he had and that's s why he was very powerful. Plus another reason Ken is so down is because in the lead up to SF6, JP had threatened Mel's life, even if Ken and Luke saved him, and I'm also sure besides being set up, Ken is hurting because he's away from Eliza and Mel to protect them, and we know his family means the world to him.

Honestly we get different endings for Jamie and Luke but what I like to think is that they actually stalemated and knocked each other out in reality. They were probably too proud to admit defeat to the other after that

Manon and Marisa have such an endearing friendship of two strong woman from very different backgrounds with such different fighting styles having such a fun time together fighting, very sweet.

Well, at least Zangief was polite about it.

So SF6 is introducing alot of battle hungry and journey stricken warriors. Ryu has alot of company now. If only Capcom would involve him more in the Ken scandal as WELL as putting in some slight development in his character with him having a cell phone or at least knowing how to use one. cause i dont think he does.

Zangief's story is funny. A tag match, only to be revealed that he'll wed her soon. I kinda want this to be so though. Zangief needs someone to tie him down as well as hold him up and Marisa is the best suited.

Ken was younger and had that cocky and fun side of him, but with him being older having a family & business he's now taking up responsibilities. Now in terms of SF6 he's on a new path to either get revenge on JP and get his life back with his wife & kid.

Yeah. We mostly had M.Bison/Dictator with Shadaloo, for very long time. Only sf3 was not about Shadaloo. I really hope Illuminati do comeback. Same time whatever JP is planning. Also G did hint something about bigger force and also, was said to be Herald of something.

Half right. They're drawn by iconic artist Shinkiro, among the most senior of SNK artists. His work is in a ton of SNK's 90s catalogue. Other big names you may recognize are Ogura and Nona. In fact, if you're familiar with Hiroaki, you most likely knew all this already.

I know everyone's hyped about Marisa and Zangief going at it, but we should also consider that Manon showed up. Did she actually read and agree to that invitation?

But, since they never revealed why she was there at the time, it could leave room for a reveal that she came to the Colosseo because of the flyer and just kept it to herself if they ever wanted to explore these two as a couple. Am I overthinking? Probably, but I think it’s really interesting to think about 🤷🏻‍♂️

Marisa's way of flirting is the most understandable way a guy can miss her hints. Or avoid them. Can't get mad at Gief for being himself. He could have been a little nicer about leaving though

@akilcharles3473 From a story standpoint it would be perfect because then the one true friend of his would come and that would be Ryu. Ryu would help Ken fight off the Satsui no Hado like Ken did for him over the years. Also since Ryu has experience with the Hado he knows it better than most.

Maybe its because Blanka's innocense, he doesn't know anything about the real world, he is still like a kid seeking for attention, you will realize that the only ones, besides his mom, who care for him are Dan and Sakura (maybe Lily now) and the three of them are a bunch of misfits if you think about it. The rest of the world sees him as a creature or like some kind of circus atraction, while he doesn't realize that, he is happy with small innocent things like being "the power of the jungle" is wholesome but at the same time, heartbreaking...

@@shadowclaw7210 i think it was allways Japan wich originaly named him Vega, for the star, like a symbol of leadership and the rest of the world following América named him M.Bison. its interesting because it ended like that because Capcom america didn't wanted to be sued by Mike Tyson's people, since the real M.Bison in Japan is the one americans know as Balrog, the boxer, while the original Balrog was in fact Vega, the one with the claws, while Akuma is in reality, Gouki. I also preffer the japanese denominations, but fans are more accostumed to the american ones...localization sucks man...

Really going to save the most bombshell lines for the very end...

@@JosephFlores-yn4yi one of the other commenters says that Retsu was his first major opponent before Sagat. They are friends now, so Ryu might not have thought of him as a villain, but rather a powerful opponent.
