Excellent comparison and review. I got my first ace with a Glitch a few days ago. So fun! The whole flight and catching chains seemed like slow motion in comparisons to other aces with faster discs. I was hoping you'd nail an ace with your players pack. Look forward to more of your vids.

Just played mine today and it was super fun! TD should mention it, but apparently you only can qualify for Maple Hill if you play in pro, so I had to play up. (Def didn't win, but it was a blast!)

I spent most of this weekend throwing various weights of Glitches with a few of the Eclipse Pitches, and the Pitches all seemed slightly less stable than any of the Glitches. Two questions: Are the disc weights across all three molds pretty similar? How was the flashing around all the injection ports on the Parachute?

All the discs were 152g or 153g. I didn’t get much variety in weight in my players packs. Yes, Pitches are slightly less stable than the Glitches and Parachutes, MVP did a good job of making the flight numbers 0.5 less stable on the Pitch. That’s about right. No flashing issues at all. The Parachutes are very comfortable in the hand. I love ‘em.

What weights were your discs? A few grams seems to make a difference in stability.

They are all 152-153 grams.

I'm so confused about the origins of the Glitch. What is a Glitch exactly? I know the Glitch mold can be made with different plastics. But isn't a glitch a glitch? How can a Glitch be an Eclipse Glitch? Are other manufacturers also producing Glitches now? Is a Parachute still a Glitch, just streamlined?

MVP produced the Glitch and it was instantly a hit. Their idea behind the design was to take an Ultimate frisbee and make it smaller. Since then other companies have tried copying it, Spore (Discmania). MVP made 2 other versions of the Glitch and released them from their other disc lines. Axiom has the Pitch and Streamline now has the Parachute. Pitch and Parachute are slightly different from the Glitch, but pretty darn close. An Eclipse Glitch is a Glow Glitch. Eclipse is MVPs name for their glow plastic. Does that help at all?

What were the weights of the plasma soft ones you were throwing?

They are all 152-153g. There was not very much weight variation in the packs I got.

i wonder how long it will be until there's a TSA equivalent.

Close. Spore is deeper, but yes. Very close.
