1. I knew cody was winning from the moment punk said the dusty's kid line 2. No way they're letting cody win back-to-back royal rumbles (this btw hasn't happened since 1998 with stone cold steve austin) just to have him lose again. No seth, no punk and sure as hell no dwayne johnson will stop cody this time

F no. How boring. Now we get the same match again??? Give Punk Regins at WM and then on the 2nd night give Rhodes the rock. If they had any balls, they would have the rock turn heel and lose to rhodes. Then Rhodes could unify the belts and the rock could turn again and fight his nephew down the road. Instead we get this boring match?? God I yearn for 1992 sometimes.

He's just too popular for that, the ship has sailed. Thirdly they just did a title unification at 38, another unification with a relatively new title is the last thing we need. And fourthly, if you honestly yearn for 1992, you know the Pre-steroid trial times, it just sort of says something about the kind of wrestling fan you are.

@@kingrobthegreat7446 because wwe does WAY more shows than ufc. And at some point, some matches will be repeated. And Cody vs Roman happening again is the best thing. There's so much buildup to that match, and both have so much history. It's gonna be a great showdown of promos leading to wm.

Respect for CM Punk for putting over Cody. He's literally a work horse, deserves to finish his story and win the World Championship being the face of the company. The Rock would never had denied the opportunity to win the Rumble and face Roman at WM, burying Cody's story. He even buried Punk's well deserved WM Main event in 2013. CM Punk better finish his story as well by turning heel, winning the 2025 Rumble and main eventing Wrestlemania 41 night 2.

Slaughter HBK - ‘95 lost to Diesel / ‘96 beat Bret Hart Stone Cold - ‘97 (didn’t fight for the title) lost to Bret Hart / ‘98 beat HBK And now Cody - ‘23 lost to Roman Reigns / ‘24 ?

i wanted punk to win but seeing his performance in the last 4-5 min am glad that he didn't win . punk needs lots of work before wrestlemania

if you dont care that Cody is Dusty's son.. and look at Cody himself... he is nothing more than a mediocre wrestler and never been good in any storyline,... who cares about his story.. other wrestlers have much better stories and dont get the pushes because Vince always thinks he owes something to those families from the past.

Well to be honest 😮 It was a disappointment 😞 many botches and no surprises at all! That could only mean now that we might see a mixed tag team match at wm40. The rocks maybe only chance to fight side by side with his daughter he wouldn't miss. Against Roman and ........ that's the question 😅
