I really wish he was over powered... but they made him too light, gave him too much landing lag on his Up-B and Up air, and his winged mode doesn't appear soon enough. Many times, he'll get the wing and IMMEDIATELY die... It's sad... Sephiroth deserves to be Top of the top tier

@@thx4chrckingin I mean, I watch some competitive smash streamers and most of them say he’s top tier, but we won’t know for sure until tournaments come back. It took people a few weeks of tournaments to realize Joker is one of the best characters

The funniest thing about this reveal is i have never once played any FF game in my entire life but i still knew from those first 2 notes, thats how recognizable this theme is, but i may play FF7R now though because of this

@@neur a good friend of mine told the remake has a ton of missing content, like half the original game, im not TOO big on heavy RPG like FF but, its worth a shot right?

Everyone is excited that he’s in the game as I am as well. But I know damn well all the smash characters were like “ why do I hear boss music?” And cloud was like “I CANT FUCKING CATCH A BREAK FROM THIS ASSHOLE”

Keep in mind all of these reacrions take palce at the *SAME TIME.*

Someone needs to send this video to Nobuo Uematsu so he can be reminded of how iconic his music is.

I only knew who Cloud and Sephiroth were from what i heard and seen over the internet but never played nor watched a playthrough of FF7, at that point in time, so I didn’t recognize the it or the music immediately. (I actually spent years avoiding FF in general because when I finally would get into trying it I didn’t want to be spoiled.) When I saw and heard the slash my first thought was “...Vergil?” but then the camera zoomed in and I recognized Sephiroth from the pictures I had seen of him on the internet before. After buying Sephiroth dlc in Smash I then bought the FF7 port on the Switch to finally give it a try. Good game.

The first four notes of One-Winged Angel always have an immediate effect on people. It's always "OH SHIT, IT'S SEPHIROTH!!!" and "Oh, shit... It's Sephiroth...!" Both excitement and fear at the same time.
