I played HG few weeks back and everytime we got boarded in that fight, both me and my friend got insane ping, so it can happen. Obviously that wasn't the case here but I can kind of understand why they accused them of cheating. I have never encountered players this good and would be completely lost as to how they did quite a few things if I didn't watch these guys's perspective. They did use game exploits even though they definitely didn't need it

Well i have seen poeoples indeed using some sort of exploits to make you lag or tank your FPS etc.. but usually it happen when you board their ship .. I have seen laggy boarders tho that are nearly unkillable due to them teleporting and or Hit reg messing up ! This game is truely fun but insanely unstable and exploited !

Them guarding the wrong ladder and accusing you of cheats for it, must be one of the most amazing skill issues ever caught on camera.

unfortunately I didnt get the chance to show the hour long fun and joking around with him Was showing off the double gold and he mentioned that he'd watched someone who had it but couldnt remember the name of the streamer- I went down the list and when I got to nessie he said that's who he was thinking of LOL Ended up getting nedward on the boat and had even more fun, it was a great server haha

I killed a duo the otherday I was defending one hole and it took forever for them too sink. I started feeling bad after a while because they kept saying surely you dont keep killing us bro. They had a ton of loot as well. This game sucks because killing people is actually feels so toxic at times. It's so obvious when you are just better.

Such a fun game but as a solo slooper avoiding combat is all we can really ever do. I'd love to do more or feel more confident but I played for the first time the other day and after running from a reaper for 12 minutes the game kicked me out and then reconnected me - due to this I sailed straight into a storm and got caught. Multiple other times I've had fights with people and they're just choppy, almost blinking around. This I think makes the game super frustrating when you lose in combat. Hours of work for a lay fest of a fight sucks. So I can see why they're mad. Though, I've no idea how they don't know about the splash sound when someone boards you... even I know that and I only just got pirate legend today... Great content from you guys, you actually play really well which is cool. Didn't like the ladder exploit but then again I have to wonder if its technically the same category as the sword dash jump. Still ggs.

You just have to remember that it's a funny pirate game with pixel rewards. If you go into the game only wanting loot, it will never be fun for you. I get the game is frustrating at times, but just think about how the game is not about the loot you get or the gold you earn, but the experience itself of playing the game. As a wise man one said: "It's not about the gold, it's about the glory." Appreciate the comment and good luck out there

@@makaiosr Yeah i'm 100% with you! I don't mind losing my stuff; it's more to do with me losing it without a chance - especially the disconnecting one. It's fun running and fighting and etc. Some days I only log on to fight. But when the game stops working as intended it kills that experience that you put so eloquently. At least for me anyway.

the lag is insane, if they actually knew this game they would know that sot is just super laggy, especially with gallys and a lot of loot

That's an issues with EU servers I believe. Not sure when a fix is coming, but if you get a free VPN (like Windscribe or proton) you can vpn to another place in the world and you'll have game chat

That was because we were on a 30 streak. The game breaks when you get ~20+ streaks and looks like that. I have a vid where we did a 113 streak soon and I'll show/explain it more there

How are they gonna have dark adventurer jacket and still not understand how when put on ladder it make noise. not when deep under water, no noise on ladder. And they probably sunk because of how many mental gymnastics they were going through to justify their losses and make you cheat. I mean, I suppose fair enouogh if you don't know the wave-riding board, but it still isn't cheating. A deckshot, is not cheating. A one-blunder, is not cheating. Shooting someone, is not cheating. When you lower your graphics, it can help you see people in the water -- still not cheating. when you shoot a blunderbuss and land one pellet, I would not recommend calling out "shot him once" because that will make your crewmates think that you actually did something correctly for the first time all night.

As someone who plays on Xbox, I can confirm, the game is almost unplayable on this platform. The hang-ups, the poor movement, the constant crashing, etc. The game is not gonna do well on PS5 if these problems persist.
