His name is Steve. He shows up at the end of the video. Though I'm just an Internet rando, I appreciate what he did to this family. How many people do you hear about checking if you're fine and locking your front door after a storm? Hope they're all OK.

Finding the guy who closed his door was the perfect cherry on top. They were lucky it was him and not someone up to no good. And he gave them a new dog unknowingly. This is just awesome.

Okay, the fact that the only door probably for miles during a storm happened to be a sweet family like this when the poor dog was starving, injured and freezing and then a kind stranger shuts the door so quickly after...Divine intervention/miracle timing.

I still love this video to this day. Her owner quite regularly updates her instagram and they are working on a story book. You can tell she is so loved, she has little humans to read storybooks to her and a dog brother, and sometimes gets pancakes for breakfast. She won the family jackpot.

I can understand where you are coming from, so many people lie about these stray animal stories just for attention, only to find out, they really didn't keep them. Not only did this sweet family get a new puppy but they got a new friend Steve! This was such a beautiful story ❤️🙏❤️🥰🥰

That story is sweet on so many levels: the dog seeking refuge, the guy shutting the front door, then becoming friends with the homeowner, and the family giving Suzy a home.

Responsible adults know that it’s not normal to be waken up/called/ texted in the middle of the night. So when it does happen it could very well be an emergency. Announcing that the baby is ok first tells us where the priorities are for these parents. Good peeps

@@RouxHarbour haha to be fair, it was a storm, and it wouldn't have been a good idea to go into their house to check anyway. The guy did due diligence by closing their door, and probably checked in the morning if people were going about their normal day or else he would have called proper authorities. That's my reasoning, anyway. And it all worked out in the end! Yay to Steve.

They gained a new sweet puppy and a true friend/neighbor in Steve! Seems like a win-win! Thanks for giving her a wonderful home. Animals deserve so much more!

There are no coincidence’s. This Beautiful Being could see the Light of the Hearts that lived there and knew, that she would be Loved and Safe. What a Lovely story for all that participated with Loving Kindness and of course this includes Steve.

@@lifeofhenry6474 This story is fake as hell. They would have noticed their door left wide open with pets in the house and a guy shouting into the house and banging the door shut. Their pets would have also reacted immediately to a stranger at the door and another animal in the house. They act like the dog got in by magic but they left the door open. The guy is not some random stranger but his neighbour/friend clearly in on it. This whole story is BS for views.
