After Double Knot promotions, that’s when we heard the news that Woojin wasn’t a part of Stray Kids anymore and the rest of the year was just so hard and emotional for the group and Stays. Esp bc a lot of people stopped stanning after Woojin left and Stray Kids was scared we were going to leave them. The growth from Double Knot to now, ugh I can’t tell you how incredibly proud I am of them. They went through a lot last year and not only did they have to keep calm and stay strong for each other but they couldn’t even show their emotions in front of Stays or on camera until their District 9 Unlock tour. They broke out crying expressing how hard it’s been and they promised to work harder. And look at them now. Ugh my ults. I love them so much. Sorry I went on a tangent lmao!! Also, they’re coming out with a new mv for their ost Hello Stranger in about 30 mins. (12AM KST) if you didn’t already know. So you can look forward to that if you plan to react to it 😉

But pain makes you grow, and bc of what happened they all had the opportunity to grow individually and that’s why God’s Menu era will always be in for the books. This was EVERYONE’s era. Every single member shined on this album and all the Stays that have worked hard w/ str34ming, voting, buying their albums even after promotions shined. Our family has grown so much, honestly this is OUR (Stray Kids + Stays) era 😭💕 #StrayKidsEveryWhereAllAroundtheWorld

@ige uri tang tang tang tang ugh right? That’s why Haven is one of my favorite songs on the album, bc the line where Changbin sings “you gotta stay with me” was inspired by what Hyunjin said when he begged us to stay.😩💔 it made me appreciate and love the song even more.

Even if Hyunjin is anyone’s bias or bias wrecker his raps and KILLER DANCE MOVES BIAS WRECKED THEM PERIOD.

First of all, thanks for your reaction. And then I must tell you one thing that you definitely CANNOT miss Stray Kids’ “Chronosaurus” video. 
Bang Chan once explained about the word “Chronosaurus.” He said they combined the words Chronos (God of Time) and Kronosaurus (an extinct genus pliosaur) to describe that time is like something scary chasing them. 
I love this song, and in my opinion, it’s one of their songs criminally underrated. And I believe most STAYs think so, too!!

Another suggestion: You may listen to their album “Yellow Woods” in privacy If you have a chance. Just enjoy their music relaxedly. And the album “SKZ2020” is their greatest hits.

Lol so before this era started, Stays thought this song was going to be a mixtape ot9 version for 3racha’s song Double Knot. So a part of me (I’m not sure about other Stays) was a bit disappointed at first bc I expected iconic lines from the their original song. So it took a few listens for me to love this song. I got over it in a day and replayed the song over and over for a few months lmao Anyway off to the storyline ;) Just as the song says, they’re tying their shoes in a double knot implying that they’re heading straight towards their paths no matter the consequences. Even if things get tough and they get hurt along the way they keep going. Again you’ll notice the keys, the 2 moons in the sky. Double Knot takes place in the universe where they chose the Road Not Taken. You’ll see Hyunjin running through crossroads a couple times. Hyunjin is the representation of self where they’re lost and confused of which paths to take to reach their goals. And yeah it’s pretty straightforward this one lol I’ll sum up the rest of the storyline in the next reaction. I love love love your reactions lol I always look forward to them! If you want more insight on the storyline, you should watch the trailers for "I AM NOT", "Clé 2 : Yellow Wood" and "Clé : Levanter" (easy to find if you search on KZread). They give a lot more information on what is going on, since they can't include as much as they would like in the MVs alone. Each of these trailers are only 2-3 minutes long, so you can even react to all of them at once. You will see that the end of the Levanter trailer corresponds to the beginning of the Levanter MV. The trailer for "GO Live" is also important, but maybe it's better to watch it after the Levanter MV ?

Yay! Double Knot's choreo is one of my favs for their harder songs. Speaking of anthems, Victory Song is a legit hard anthem. You'll feel attacked all over again. I'm sure they have been suggested quite a few times already, but you should check out Ateez when you get a chance. They are newer, like SKZ, and have a different style and sound than other K-pop guy groups. People that like SKZ often like Ateez too. They're different, but just have that "thing" that makes them special, like SKZ do. I'd suggest starting with their debut song Pirate King. As always, thanks for sharing and be well!

Not sure which song(s) you have planned but often people will suggest their latest MV (Answer) as a first listen, and so I have to give fair warning: that song/MV is an epilogue to everything they did previously. So I would save it for later after. You of course dont have to follow my advice on that, but it's something you should know as it ends up being a bit of a spoiler. Anyways, thanks for the response!

😂✌️ I felt the same way last year when this came out only I was trippin’ on even more levels as I connected it to 3racha’s Double Knot and Broken Compass/Skz Mixtape #4. It’s not a mixtape, but more like a version 2.0. This is how I became convinced they are lyrical and musical geniuses. I love these guys🥰👉👈 💙🦋💙

Double Knot has a completely English version (just like Levanter) you can check it later. Double Knot English version has performance video and for Levanter english version can see a Lyrics video, cause don´t have mv or perfomance

Great reaction as always! ✨ Please watch Astronaut mv first before Levanter. Even if Astronaut is not a title track but the mv is part of the story. Double Knot was Woojin’s last mv, but he actually filmed in Astronaut too. It’s just that he left before the mv release, so they had to re-record the song and instead of filming a new mv, the company just cut Woojin’s part all together. But stays still managed to get bits of Woojin in the mv. Like his shadow, silhouette and backside hahah it’s sad.

They're a rock band under the same company as Stray Kids and their members have a hand in writing a lot (it might be all) of their music as well. In 2017 they committed to releasing 2 songs every month for project called "Every Day6" which they accomplished, which honestly, is quite a feat. Title Tracks to check out: Congratulations (Debut Title Track) Letting Go I Wait - January 2017 (start of the "Every Day6" Project) You Were Beautiful - February 2017 How Can I Say - March 2017 I'm Serious - April 2017 Dance Dance - May 2017 I smile - June 2017 Hi Hello - July 2017 What Can I Do - August 2017 I Loved You - September 2017 When You Love Someone - November 2017 I Like You - December 2017 (End of "Every Day6" Project) Shoot Me Beautiful Feeling Days Gone By Time of Our Life Sweet Chaos Zombie Okay, so now that seems like a pretty intimidating list, mostly cause they literally put out a title track every month for a year x'D But as a starting point, I definitely recommend "Congratulations" for their debut, and "You Were Beautiful" cause it continues the story of the Congratulations MV. After that, some of my personal favorites are "I Wait" "Shoot Me" "Sweet Chaos" and "Zombie" (mind you I say favorites, but I love all of their music). Of course their b-sides are super worth checking out (especially in the last 2 years), but that's a super, extensive list x'D They've also released . . . 1 japanese album (I think, although I know they recorded compilation albums of their Korean releases, in Japanese). The only other recommendation I have is that if you watch all of the "Every Day6" MVs I recommend watching most of them in order, cause a lot of the MVs towards the end of the year are continuations of the previous month MV. I really super love them, cause its so great to watch their growth as a band from Congratulation to Zombie. Like for the first couple years, they really made me feel like my high school days when I'd go to small music venues to watch my friend's band play and with their more recent comebacks, its felt like the first time I listened to U2, Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, etc (mind you I'm not THAT old, but I listened to a lot of my dad's records growing up x'D). Anyways, sorry for the long post, but I'm a huge fan of theirs x'D I love Bands and I Love Kpop and they are the intersection of those two loves x'D
