*****​ Ha! Omg.... 😂 I've been a happily married woman for more than a decade. I'm going to encourage someone to continue to be compassionate towards animals so more people will. It is an attractive feature that many find sexy- including myself. My husband is THE most compassionate (and sexy) person I've ever had the privilege to know personally. I am lucky to have him...and so are the animals and less fortunate souls who happen to cross paths with him. He makes me a better person and the world a better place. So yeah. If I see that quality in another human being, I am DAMN sure going to compliment them on it because good kind hearts are hard to find these days. 😻

That would be like me saying that blacks cant bleach their skin or put straight weave in their hair! Do you see how ridiculous that sounds? Everyone appropriates from everyone else- it's called popular culture. ;) Uggghhh lol... awkward. (Granted, I think that skin bleach should be outlawed because dark skin is freaking GORGEOUS, but I digress.) So you can sit here and argue with your damn self sweetheart. Poor kitty. I know they don't like water, but sometimes, you have to do what they don't like, even though it seems cruel, because it's what's best for them.

I know this was from a year ago but if you have a shower like this you can buy a harness that DOES NOT go around the neck and tie it up and just shower him. That's what I've alwse done when I've fosterd my stray cats

How the heck did u do that?!!!! I take care of a sweet stray I named Mr. Wooly, but he has fleas & is dirty. I want to bring him inside for the winter so he doesn't freeze, but not without a bath. Fighting him over the tub scares me $h!tless. His nails are sharp. any tips so I can give this kitty a bath and a nice warm home? U have a good spirit, b/c kitty wasn't afraid of you and even let you clean his ears :)

full bathtub like that will scare the cat into thinking she will drown. it is better to wrap a kleenex around your finger and use that to clean their ears. if you use a q tip you can go in too far or if the cat shakes her head you can damage the ear drum.

Well, the last think I will expect from this "biker style man" to be such a cute softie...:-)) and btw the kitty is gorgeous

I've had a few cats in my life and I've only attempted a few baths, when ABSOLUTELY necessary (rolling in something she can't get off herself). The howling, screeching, spitting, scratching and fighting is not something I enjoy.I can't believe how easy this looks. It sure wasn't my experience with cat bathing.

If you're afraid to use a qtip try irrigating the ear with a squirt bottle (not a spray bottle) or with one of the ketchup-type bottles you can buy at the dollar store. Use peroxide with a little warm water and maybe a little olive oil. And flush the gunk out.

Does he still go outside? Does he get fleas? Is that why he still needs baths? This cat must have previously lived with humans at some point and maybe been abandoned. A feral cat would never allow a human to handle him. And he seems pretty gentle so I'm sure he's been around humans before.

He needs meds for his ears. He has ear mites, which are little bugs that look like fleas under the microscope. They cause a lot of damage to cat's ears. Sometimes they even need surgery.

You don't need THAT much water. He's probably scared to death of getting drowned. A small plastic Dollar Tree water basin would have done the trick.

Wish my cats were like that lol. Do you have any advice for me? There's this kitten that I just recently took in. She has fleas and I want to take her a bath. And since she's a fluffy black cat it's hard to see the fleas.

My family and I are watching after a stray cat since yesterday, but she is very very skinny and can see and feel her bones. I want to give her a bath but worried she'll get really hostile and try to attack. Today she was walking around growling and hissing and bit my step dad (But I blame him on that because he was trying to hostily pick her up and be forceful) she calmed down later and if fine now. I just don't know what to do, if anyone can help it would be very appreciated!

I've been watching some cats that's been on my porch for a while. They aren't in my house yet, but the thing with strays is you have to give them time to warm up to you. Lol I definitely think your step dad set his self up for that one. For example, one of the kittens actually started to rub against my legs and stated my my side and let me rub her belly (like a dog) as far as a bath let it get a little more comfortable first and its best to use a wet wash cloth with mild detergent like dawn

This cat is a stray? She is obviously accustomed to being around people. I would think its more likely she was abandoned or got lost.

I would have had a lil heater to warm up the bathroom or used a hair dryer on the kitty. They can catch colds fairly quickly. Use less water in the tub and put a towel or better yet a bath mat in the tub so kitty can get his footing and won't feel so frightened. Pls use only a shampoo for cats. Best of all use a dry shampoo or wet wipes made for cats. Kitty was very good about this!!!!

your doing this all wrong sir!!! Horrible experience for this cat... watch videos on how to wash a cat next time. your not supposed to put them in water... you place them in dry tub then run water slowly close to hair and skin also avoid face . wipe with a damp rag

+LORD INC Worldwide thats funny because on every video where a person has running water people comment that they are doing it wrong and that you should already have water in the tub as running water will scare the cat more. Always a complainer isn't there
