i guess you could try The Physics House Band, saw them live at a miniature venue and it was superb!

That opening riff gets me every time it's so damn good!

Like you said, whether a band has vocals or not doesn't make the band better or worse. It's the band as a whole that determines the quality of the music. Whether it is purely "instrumental" or has a singer doesn't matter, and shouldn't matter.

Didn't know about Strawberry Girls until they opened for the Dance Gavin Dance 10 year anniversary tour since Zach Garren used to be their guitarist. The crowd was there for screamo hardcore and weren't into Strawberry Girls very much, but holy shit I think they were the highlight of the night. Besides of course when they got all the former DGD members up on stage to perform Uneasy Hearts Weigh the Most. That was magical all the past and present members playing together in harmony. As soon as we left I bought this album. Their live shows are amazing and I hope to see them again so badly!

I just saw them on 9/25 in Margate, FL with Hail the Sun, Royal Coda, Vis, and a local band named Makoto. This was either the second or third song. The entire show opening band to closer was just utterly mind blowing.

I wish it didn't have to end! so good. My most anticipated album.

Saw these dudes open for Chon before I knew who they were. They fucking destroyed it. It was awesome to see a band like them have some good ass stage presence, even on a tour where they were the opener.

@@eloise4392 Ever listened to “Thee Oh Sees”? It’s more of a psychedelic rock band, but they’re great (and fronted by women). If you like Blues Rock (like Led Zeppelin, early Black Sabbath) you could listen to “Blues Pills” which is also led by a female vocalist.
