I just made this cake it is very moist and delicious. I did make one change which was the 7-up, I used a sprite soda instead. For me the sprite gives the cake a more moist texture than the 7-up. This will be the cake I will make for family gatherings.Thank you Vee for a scrumptious flavorful recipe.

That cake is sooo pretty!! You know what I learned to do? I take a piece of wax paper & put my cooling rack over that, and then I pour on my Icing/Glaze until I get the amount I want. Then I scrape up most of the excess that ran onto the wax paper & put in on my cake plate & then set the cake on top of that. That way the cake looks beautiful and I still have all of the extra icing on the very bottom that you can't see but you'll taste it!! 😊❤❤❤ I'm Def gonna try this cake when it warms up in the spring!!

Do you have a recipe for a key lime cake? With a powdered sugar glaze not icing? If so will you make it before mother's Day and posted this recipe. My friend put in her cake mix key lime instant pudding or she put in vanilla instant pudding pudding.. she do not use key lime Jell-O or lime Jell-O😊 she also used g r e e n food coloring...
