Carlos Kleiber has changed everything about interpretations of this song. I think that Mariss is conscious of Carlos' performance.

Ich bin für immer ruiniert worden, nachdem ich Carlos Kleiber beim Konzert der Wiener Philharmoniker bei den Silvesterkonzerten gesehen habe. Ich werde niemals einen Walzer in derselben Richtung hören.

ヨハン・シュトラウスの作品はやっぱりウィーンフィルのイメージが強いから、聴いていて新鮮というか不思議な感覚になります。 ベルリンフィル✕マリスヤンソンスと ウィーンフィル✕マリスヤンソンスを 聴き比べるのも面白いですな〜 いいですね! たまには、ベルリン・フィルでも取り上げて欲しい。
