Hi Pedro. I am model railroader, and in our club, we have the intention to make model of theses typ of bridges. Your EXCEL looks awesome. Can we get copy of it please? Regards

Can you do structural calculations on it?

I think I'm too lame to do such a thing. First: in the opening/closing phase whole construction turns from static scheme to mechanic. Never did such calculations. Second: Wonder how to present internal forces values (Normal, Vertical and Bending Moment) on every element/rod in excel. If we simplify and treat whole superstucture as a truss with joint connection in every node it will be easier (no vertical forces and bending moments) but it's still a challenge ;)
