Seven years after the release of their last album “Eternal”, Stratovarius once more prove their status as Power Metal kings and come back with a big bang.
A blistering comeback from one of heavy metal’s most seminal bands, Survive is full of dynamics and drama, feeding on a wide range of emotions along the way. But the core message that this triumphant endeavour conveys is one of struggle, defiance, hope and victory.
Best exemplified by its profoundly rousing title track, Survive is the Stratovarius spirit in exquisite musical form, with all the darkness and light that goes with it.

This album definitely was worth the wait. Such a banger and heavy like no Stratovarius album has ever been before. But please don't make us wait seven years for a new album again 😂

I knew this band having another guitarist, they're still great with this one. I can notice a little change that could be obvious but sometimes that ruins bands in the same situation. They did a wise choise of new bandmate.
The first time i heard Stratovarius i was a little kid (not even ten years old) Im now 4 days away from being 31, and im still happy being a fan :)

I must say it ....AGAIN. I was last weekend at the Aschaffenburg show. Stratovarius, ist unexplainable (do this word exist???) one of underrated bands ever!.....The quality of the music this guys make live, the sound quality at the show, the vibrations they set, the lyrics......all. The lyrics, had helped me at certain moments in my life. And i´m sure i´m not the only one. This fxxg world needs us, and ROck and Roll and more power and empowerment and inspiration. Stratovarius make a stand and becomes the soundtrack from a new era. I´m still surprised how AMAZING this album (vinyl) is. AND, I was for the first time with my daughters first Metal concert ever.... so grateful to be part of that. Muchas gracias!

Es entendible cuando se dice que esto no es Strato, porque el principal compositor fue Timo Tolkki; sin embargo, algo que juega a favor es tener aún a Kotipelto y a Jens, que son de la formación más brillante de la banda. Personalmente, me encantan todos los discos post Timo Tolkki, siendo Survive y Nemesis mis favoritos. Tremendos músicos y composiciones!

Stratovarius murió en 2009, esta es otra banda que mantuvo ese nombre tan legendario.
When I first listened to this album I was amazed by the brilliant music that has that unique Stratovarius style no other band has. I'm glad you managed to keep you own style because that is why I've been listening to your songs for my entire life since I was about four or five years old (I'm not joking, that's true). And this song has touched my heart so much that it's now my favourite song from this album! Thank you, Stratovarius! Love your art of music!!🤩
