Once again, Finland rules!!

Stratovarius was a multi national band, a finnish vocalist, finnish guitarist, swedish keyboardist and a german drummer. He also did the drummimg on plenty of the german power metal band Running Wild's albums. It would be nice if you some day would react to them, because they are pioneers and have been around since the late 70s Great reaction btw 🤘

and Timo Tolkki now is a mexican guy! jajaja...he lives here on my city on Monterrey México and love it the tacos and mexican food jajaja (same Duncan Patterson ex Anathema, hes married here and live in Monterrey with his wife and two sons) :p

I'm addicted to this band. Since I've just listened by the first time, in 2000, I've never stopped listening anymore. Stratovarius is so powerful, Timo Kotipelto is one of the best heavy metal singers ever......I still have goosebumps when I hear their songs.

Actually I have heard this song first time in 2000. It was impressive!

Oh yes. I was listening to the Album when i was jung. Very jung. I Loved it. Great Band. Great voice. They have really great Songs.

This song was one of my waypoints to more harder metal and I still can remember how I was just a teen listening this song and thought that rock and metal is not that bad after all :) Since Stratovarius I started to listen Sentenced, Blind guardian, Tiamat and In flames...

This song will always have a special place in my heart. It was the song which I discovered Stratovarius. They encapsulated their landmark sound in a radio hit structured song and it worked in an outstanding way. Such a lot of bands are highly influenced by them. React to S.O.S music video.

In that video there is not the original music track. Music track is from Tavastia's gig (you can hear Timo's shouting to audience, "no niin Tavastia") and video has recorded in Raumanmeren Juhannus summer festival.

I remember 25.11.2000 Stratovarius gig at Tavastia Club in Helsinki, Finland. I remember it because that evening i met Alexi Laiho and Alexander Kuoppala of Children Of Bodom. They was watching Stratovarius gig too. R.I.P. Allu.

Their album Visions is one of the best power metal albums of all time. But since Tolkki left, they are not so good as they were in the 90ies. Great band

Its always this song or black diamond pepole react to but they did some very good classic heavy metal/power metal the earlier albums. I suggest reacting to Break The ice live at finnish tv from the early 90s

The pronounce is Strato'V'arius...it's a mix of Stratocaster (the guitar) and Stradivarius (the violin)

U know SuziQ,Jon,Dolly ,Travis and your kids need to move to Finland. Or visit at least. Here your band would most likely get to play in DBTL(Down by The Laituri(Piet)-concert, NummiRock, and other Finnish summer festivals. And I think you guys would love living here. Kids could go safe and very good schools that won't cost anything until university level. If course some books needs to be bought. And you could see NW, Sabaton, and many other good bands like Sonata Arctica every summer. Think the life here. Just saying. And I could go to sauna and have couple of beers with Travis and Jon. Lol

The name IS tricky, don't be surprise if it's hard to remember. It's a word play from an expensive violin called Stradivarius and stratosphere etc. They have a song called Stratosphere - fast, another called Speed of Light - fast(er) and Stratofortress FAST! and my favourite of them. It's like listening to Bach, the keyboard sounds like a cembalo there. And then a must to listen is there slow song Comin Home.
