One of my all-time favorite songs by one of the best Finnish metal bands ever!

Tony Kakko is one of those singers that should have been worldwide acclaimed for his undeniable skill in belting out huuuuuuuuge lyrics, but Sonata Arctica came around about 10 years too early for the huge metal wave of the mid 2010s that carried many a name across the globe. He's still going, as are SA, but they deserved 30x the success they've had, as they have everything from power metal (definitely react to Full Moon), ballads (this song), smack-you-hard-in-the-feels-metal (I Have A Right), and pretty much everything else. I will emphasize that if you want a reaaaaaaal headbanger from them, Full Moon. Such a powerful song

I saw fullmoon live, it was GREAT.

My friend played me "Don't Say A Word" in 2004 and I have listened to Sonata Arctica ever since. The most important band to me.

Goddam this old Sonata is amazing.

Their early records are just power metal gold.

Met Tony Kakko a couple of years ago. A really nice guy with a super voice in a great band.

This song and the song Letter to Dana were the first song i heard from Sonata Arctica in my highschool years still in favorite ones

Ooooow, Letter to Dan was my first. I was in love the first time I heard it. And yes, I was a very girly teenager so Tony's looks were a biiiig pro too I admit. "Teenagers, sigh"

You should DEFINATELY react to another song from them called Tallulah. That takes my breath away... both the song and lyrics. Please.

Seen them 4 times live and their new album is shaping up to be amazing! Will definitely make it 5 next year. My all time favourite band. I hear tony's voice and it just feels like home to me

DAMN .. this did hit hard ! I just came back home and just wanted to hear some music and see some reactions. And this was the FIRST song ! Long story short .. 13 months ago i did broke up with a women i was engaged to for a long time. I have thought about her every day since and how she treated me. ( And what went wrong ) Have not seen her for a one year now .. until today. Went to her friends house to help with a little wasp problem ( I have a beekeeping experience so little task for me ) I spent a few hours there and drove them to a local bar .. when she got out of the car she looked at me and said .. I love you and I replied .. i love you too ! ... And I thing she was crying a bit while walking away 😢 .. Then this song reminds me all the bad, ugly and good we had together .. 😱 DAMN

Well, this song reminds me about my very bad relationship. First, everything was ok, but later on, he cheated at me . He treated me very badly, I was a peace of shit to him. Today I can listen this song and enjoy it. I was the one, who sent the request for Suzi and Travis. Terveisiä hämeestä! Elämä jatkuu.

This is my most beloved song ever. Also The Power of One is deep within me. And many others, but i stopped listening to new Sonata songs after 2007 album. Same with Nightwish, it's not for me anymore and my life is empty.

What is the best song from Sonata Arctica? That is a hard question. They started with speed/trash metal, then moved towards main stream, and now they have no balls at all. My choise is White Pearl Black Oceans from the last good album Reckoning Night. Lyrics video version.

@@petertapola8097 I have sang Fullmoon in karaoke many times. That is power metal. The subgenre of metal depends on the timeline of this band. 8th Commandment is speed. As is most of their early work.

Horrible lyrics. No artistry, more like a teenager writing when they have had a heartbreak. They are from my country and I have known them a long time, but this was the first time I heard them. So that's good. I feel like I didn't miss anything. Well... you can't like every band in the world.
