I love how she's homeschooled! Iys awesome to see more people who are homeschooled before coronavirus. I am personally a homeschooler and think its awesome

She's such a good sport singing loud and expressive in the middle of a quiet grocery store like that! That takes some confidence! Good job Melissa!😎

She DID sing better in seconds! You could absolutely hear more power and confidence in her voice towards the end :)

If she wasn't shy she would have sung it greater. You can see her trying to poke out of her shell, but kept slipping back in. I would have done the same. It's hard being the center of attention in public places. She did great

Yes! I homeschooled my oldest for a year until I realized how hard it is to homeschool and keep having babies😁🙈 And then suddenly private Christian school started looking pretty good to me❤❤❤

Melissa was so great -- even when she did her first attempt even before your tips, you could tell "oh yeah, there's something here to work with!" --- Kaia's reaction when you BELTED out the "da da da"'s was PRICELESS -- and then how she just went back to "HURRY UP MOM" bored kid reaction half a second later lol (and then her look when a few seconds later, you called her OUT on her patience -- I DIED lol)

Im half way. I haven't gotten to get second try yet but I wanted to say she actually sounded good the first try. Ill edit this one I hear the second half. Im really impressed. That second attempt was pretty amazing. I've been listening for the one that sounds unimpressive or underwhelming after the coaches advice but I haven't yet. That says a lot about the coach.

I wonder if when you go up to the random people, instead of saying "do you want me to teach you to sing better", you asked "would you allow me to give you a couple of pointers to help make you a better singer" ? It may lure them in easier. Just an idea. Loving watching those that do it!

Wow! This is amazing! I thought she would not sing with chest voice, but she did! I am sure, it felt weird and uncomfortable for her, because it literally sounds like shouting to some extend. Good job!

This was a good video overall but I didn’t really like the part on 1:37 where you kind of laugh at the guy’s accent. I know it’s an overall awkward situation and didn’t come from a negative place or anything like that but it came off as kind of insensitive and brash to me. I dont know how that guy would’ve felt having his accent be seemingly mocked for the world to see, especially since you have a large platform. All love but that’s just something to look out for; I’m dominican so I know the accent very well and I know my relatives would’ve felt bad having a white-or white passing, not sure exactly about the ethnicity so I won’t assume- lady mimic their accent and laugh. Still lots of love. ❤️

Just my take, but I think she was laughing because the guy was clearly giving her an outrageous excuse (come back in 4 hours because I need to go to my house to get something??😂😂) when he could have just said no thanks🙈😆 Or maybe he was on the clock at work and couldn't step away and didn't know what to say when someone put a camera and mic in his face?😆😂 Either way he seemed like a nice guy and I didn't get the sense she was mocking him by laughing with him, but again, that's just my take...

It's natural to get defensive when confronted , but I hope you can take a step back and realize that this isn't coming from "haters."
