(PLEASE READ) I forgot to mention in the video but if you don't care for the Ribbon effects from Paladin, you can opt to not have Paladin completely and instead run 600% Black Mage for the extra Intellect (+30) and 600% Summoner as well to double the effects of your Blessings. Doing this also means you will get to 800% for Cyclic Warrior, Black Mage & Summoner for free when using the Malboro's buff (not including any extra affinity from Quests), very powerful stuff, highly recommend if you don't care for not having a Ribbon active. On top of this try to get the Ramuh Blessing on your gear, preferably above 700% or even in the thousands. Ramuh as a Blessing is useless on this build BUT the free Intellect and Spirit it provides for simply having it is too good to pass up, definitely make space for it but don't make it the primary Blessing! Without Paladin and then having all of the above you can net well over 1000+ Magic Attack and have very high Spirit for MP gain on the higher floors, sure not having a Ribbon will be pretty brutal, but hitting almost 300K per Earthquake makes up for that, it's awesome! Kinda sad I didn't show that alternative, but that's ok because at least I can tell you all here.

Well that’s why lol, I’m over floor 100. There’s an abundance of quests that give you permanent passive affinity boosts, and different monsters give boost to stats too, on top of that I have much higher tier gear bonuses that can only be obtained through gear found on higher floors, and my summon bonuses are high asf too lol. You won’t be able to copy this properly at floor 24, this is an endgame build for a reason.

Thanks for posting this, as a new player I can’t tell you how hard it is to get a clean and clear look at the sub job setup. It may seem like common knowledge but it’s been lost to time before the steam generation got ahold of the game

having all the dlcs at once literally ruins the entire progression of the game. I dunno what they were thinking. In my opinion, if there were no DLC s, I'd have rated this game much higher lol.

You have to manually select the missions from the DLC to play them meaning you don’t need to ever touch the next DLC after the base game or previous DLC until you’re ready. Drops and loot etc is NOT effected until you are in content that’s higher level than your contents cap, which at basegame is 300

I like that you spent a little more time covering why you choose certain Affinities. I want to make a Blue Mage sword build using Crack. Either that or something other than the usual Asura. how do you get equipment with 5 stat effects? I seem to only get 3 and other 1-3 are just buffing common abilities. and also what's the method to farm gear with chaos effects?

Question, do you have a preferred mission to farm Anima Crystals for? Thanks to the "fuse" feature, I'm able to turn the free Garland set (after beating Nil) into what was shown in this video, though I noticed it drains Anima Crystals like crazy, especially since I am also spending them to lvl up Cyclic Warrior.

While this is 9 months late I will leave this for anyone who may need the information later. Go to the azure memories: the rebel on the sunken shrine, put all trials EXCEPT negate armor effects. Set up a mp regen chain cancel sub job and then have your main as black mage. Max out your mp in the stage and then sprint to the key chest, once you have the key you'll want to run to the end of the mission where you find the Marlboro and giant then cast aeroga at them until they fall off the map. Then you can just buy all the anima you need and repeat whenever. It is not perfect don't get me wrong but it is handy for amassing shards and crystals. There are other methods for pushing them off the edge black mage and aeroga is just more forgiving if it goes wrong

While testing this build, I found a work around for those unable to quickly chain cancel (such as myself): you can substitute the Summon Tachi command ability with the Rapid Cancel command ability from the Marksman Job and you'll have max MP in less than ten seconds from repeated use.

I mean that's good except you now just do less damage because you can't use Summon Tachi anymore. You basically lose that and gain nothing as cancelling with an alt job as I have is not very difficult.

@@WeLoveAspect True, but the issue is speed. I see videos, including yours, with players maxing out their MP in seconds by chain canceling and I can't figure out how to do that. It usually takes me minutes of standing in one spot slogging through chain canceling, which is especially not ideal when doing a mission that starts with a boss spawning in in seconds. Am I just not getting the timing right? Is it a difference between PS4 and PC versions/players? I overall really enjoy the build you crafted, this is just the one issue I have with it.

Good evening sir. I have question about equipment effect.. Say: i have 100% improve barrage on preset 1. Then i use the skill on preset 1 but then i fight the boss on preset 2 which has no improve barrage. How does this work? Do i need to stay on preset 1 in order to have the benefit or do i just need to proc it on preset 1 then i can switch to preset 2 and i still have the benefir?

If you see the image for barrage there alongside your other buffs then yes it’ll remain, if not then no that doesn’t work

It's all in the description already. If you're on Lufenia difficulty and need good gear, literally just buy it all and fuse different pieces together to make the perfect sets.

Sir.. how abt our companion like Sophia or Ash do they get bonus from job affinities from gears like Jack as well?? If yes then I'm gonna spend a few good hours to gear them up. Can't find a mate to play with at the moment haha

Pretty much went all in on this build foregoing all others… and it’s a lot of fun! Would really appreciate some pointers if you have time! Can you give a little more insight into what values are working for you, as far as, say, action ability MP cost %? I noticed that once I moved away from that specific trait on gear and went for more damage I can no longer spam forever. Feel like I messed it up at some point along the way. And how difficult of a time do you have without lionheart? I was looking to go for the summoner/black mage bonuses instead like you said in another comment. I’m also at a point where I may not be doing enough damage to keep up the MP gain… at floor 90. Not sure what else to do besides getting higher level chaos effects. I’m peaking at about 34k damage (weakness) with earthquake on bosses…

Just replying for the sake of anyone who reads this in the future. I highly suggest Intellect/Soul Shield mp recovery/near death damage/lightbringer damage Same on the accessories just with added "Action ability mp cost reduction" The damage formula states near death and lightbringer are added after stats but I can't tell if they're additive or multiplicative. To be safe if it's multiplicative then it's best to hba them split evenly for an extra buff of 25% to base. More intellect=more damage=near death/lightbringer=more mp limit Mp recovery=spam Also for command abilities I also recommend mighty strikes over summon taichi because then every strike counts as a weakness and with lancet you get more mp from that.

@@serenderpitysnek294Lol no do not use Mighty Strikes, Cyclic Warrior by default automatically makes enemies weak to the element of move you use in it’s kit, meaning after 1 or 2 hits from an element they’ll become weak to it thanks to the build up in the build in the vid. So gaining more raw damage over weakening when you’re already weakening is better. Mighty strikes basically isn’t going to do anything

This game is so confusing. I love it so far but I must be missing something huge. If I try to do anything outside of extra mode I die instantly. And everyone I see keeps talking like having over 400% affinity on more than 3 different jobs is easy. I’ve done as much fusing and grinding and barely can get a couple jobs up above 400%. Is there some guide or something that explains how to get any of this stuff to even start making a build? Because I must really be missing something.

Get whatever affinity it is you’re looking for and start combining pieces to get them higher. Same goes for blessings and perk bonuses, you can either just randomly find higher bonuses and then put everything onto that piece or slowly fuse things together to make something better and better, also you can use crests to increase job affinities to a certain cap.

How does this stack up to the breaker build people have been running for so long now? It certainly *looks* like more fun, but I'm curious if the damage output is as high.

With a fully min-maxed setup of all Tier 10 gear modifiers that directly effect damage you can pump out around 600-700k per Earthquake. It takes a lot of grinding but the pay off is good.

That's enough to easily insta kill almost all the bosses while heavily debuffed by the Dragon Trials on the higher floors, like 200+. The only things that will survive are things you actually let buff and have high magic resistance like Tiamat for example.

Thanks for the build. I also noticed Evoker 50/120% contributes with the MP management by about half of what Leviathan does. But for me, Sage 50/120% doesn't do anything. But I think it's because I'm playing as Sage and not equipping anything that gives sage affinity and only relying on mastery points... Also Soul Shield: MP recovery doesn't do anything for me when i put it into mastery points, I'll try adding it to the equipment. Edit: I can confirm that Sage 50/120% and Soul Shield: MP recovery won't work for me. Unless I'm not understanding their purpose. Or maybe it's because MP recovery is capped so the recovery can't go into positive (still, i remember Sage 120% and SS:MP recovery not doing anything even before reaching the cap). Right now I just use Lightbringer normally and it restores all my MP, but it costs about 3 Max MP to use. With 3 Max MP cost I can still spam it but my goal was to go into positive so I wouldn't need to have Black Mage to restore Max MP. What works for the MP management for me: Increase MP Limit Boost Rate mastery points(variable) ,Void Knight (50), Leviathan(40), Evoker(20), Summoner 600% (5). These are sorted by contribution to the MP management. Also, I imagine that when using Cyclic Warrior, the Action Ability: MP Cost effect works better if my game isn't bugged and SS:MP recovery isn't truly doing anything.

Soul Shield MP Recovery won't do anything unless you're actually using the Soul Shield as intended or using Cyclic Warrior 600% and spam activating Lightbringer either manually or through abilities.

@@WeLoveAspect I mean, it doesn't do anything when I spam Lightbringer, which triggers SS. It doesn't seem to increase the MP recovery. Weirdly enough, Evoker 120% does work even when it has practically the same effect as Sage 120%. In my case, each time i activate lightbringer it cost me 3 max MP, which seems to be the cap. So I need to add a way to restore max MP like Black Mage or similar.

If you skip to 13:11 you can see what should happen when you spam Lightbringer. You can see I’m gaining a good chunk of Max MP and all of the actual MP to fill the bars, which lets me spam for a good bit before needing to chain cancel a couple times to get my Max MP again.

You get the stat bonuses for them all, given you exceed the threshold to do so. But only 1 blessing can be active, whatever the primary blessing is will have it’s actual effects active. You can get multiple to activate at once however if you throw a bunch onto an accessory.

For levels I used Anima crystals. Only takes about 4k or so depending on initial level to get to 200 then job limit releases come from rift labyrinth. Farm the mission "The Stymied" on highest difficulty. Just a Marlboro mini boss but quick clears should give decent crystals.

??? What? It does 300k+ damage per hit, everything in the game including bosses on floor 500 and up will die in a maximum of 5-6 hits and sometimes less depending on the boss. The damage is phenomenal on this lol

How exactly does the chain canceling work? Could I rely on ethers if I can't get it?

No because ethers can't be used everywhere in the game and even if you did try to spam them in the Rifts, they'd eventually run out especially if you go on a Gauntlet. Chain cancelling is very easy though and you literally can't not get it lol, just simply cancel the cast of your spell

@@WeLoveAspect correction for this. So i at only floor 32 (my highest floor solo) and floor 72 (my highest floor co-op). I haven't reach nor touch floor 100 in any means. But few moments ago i ran into Lionheart with Invincibility from the shop. I did clear maps on floor 180 Lufenia difficulty - dunno whether that makes the difference or not. But yeah. I got that thing from shop with that circumstances. And it actually was the 2nd time i got job accessories from the shop. The 1st one was Hermes Sandal with Sovereign Of The Skies which was way earlier than today. Did replicated them just in case tho. CHEERS!

Do you think i can make to floor 100 inside the rift? Counting the rift as only Gilgamesh difficulty.. I'm still at floor 32, haven't progress it at all for few days lol.

How is your MP limit regen like that when you using the cyclic warrior skill and using your max MP

Yes and no, yes they can drop but only from Gilgamesh challenges however they also come from the exchange shop randomly. Just reset that for the chance at some though.

It’s just a random drop from doing his challenge (aka talking to him in the Labyrinth and then he’ll open a portal with a task for you to clear), your only problem is actually getting one out of all the available drops in the loot pool. It could take many many clears of his challenge or you might get it first try the next time you go for it lol

In the Labyrinth just use MP boosting items before entering a Rift, like an Elixir or whatnot. For regular content just spam chain cancelling on the alt job after spawning in.

So if i understand correctly, start looking for artifacts with this affinities and build them up to this level to have all this "power"...?? just started bahamuth but i cant tale down garland 200 and my armor is 370-ish and i dont seem to quit get the builds (yeah stupid me i know....)

Hello sir. May I ask what is the best way/method to farm these perpetual blessing accessories? It's my 4th day grinding but so far I only manage to get 4 different type of those T.T (Odin, Carbuncle, Fenrir & Phoenix). I'm desperate for a more effective way to grind it. Cheers!

There isn’t one until you can just buy them, the only effective way to get them is to grind floors until Gilgamesh shows up, do his challenge, and pray you get one.

Yep that’s just how it is, it has a low drop chance by default. Then you gotta battle the RNG of wether or not it’s the one you want and then if it is the one you want, will it be for Evocation or Ultima.

It’s mentioned many times in the video lol, the 400% Knight ability called Invincible which I have on my accessory. It makes you invincible while in Lightbringer.

Wait for him to do an attack that keeps him in place and just start slamming, he'll get stun locked easily

Why is endgame gameplay in this game such a sad joke, everyone just spams one broken move over and over all day everyday smh the game felt amazing at the lower levels where actually engaging with the combat system was a thing

Bro you clicked on a video showing a job that only does the thing you hate why tf would your dumbass do that. If you want to see “engaging combat” watch a video on a job that is more melee focused rather than literally ONLY magic lol. Almost like the exclusively magic jobs are all exactly like this, if you don’t like that don’t watch it or use it, simple.

Afternoon sir. Does quake/earth element/magic included as physical? And will it gain bonuses from physical traits from equipment effects? And does soul of chaos (cylic warrior job skill) count as magic?

@WeLoveAspect sir. I notice that Gilgamesh challenge reward can be rerolled. My question is can I obtain the eidolon accessories this way thru rerolling (if the initial/original loot wasn't an eidolon stuff)?
