Strange noise heard inside the base in Voices of the Void | (Unexplained Occurrence)

I heard weird Thuds, Crashing, and Banging noises while inside the base in VotV. I hear these noises occasionally and still dont know what causes them. Please let me know if you know what's causing it (I also found a funny secret outside the base; which is included at the end.)

    That’s the sound of these big white puff ball mushrooms you can find outside exploding. If you pick one up and throw or eat it, it may also explode

    I haven't actually seen these "white mushrooms" yet. I've only seen the brown and yellow ones. Thanks for the explanation 👍
