@@carlkindo6595 Wow, that sounds like such an incredible story indeed! Was this Okene Harrison? Sadly, I haven't really found any interviews with him online, which is truly a pity, it would be so interesting to hear him speak about that experience.
"make your world a better place because if your world is a better place you're going to make the peoples world around you a better place" 🙌 thanks for sharing Josh. Enjoyed this podcast!
We’ll done! Excellent interview. Inspiring story of courage and inner strength.
The most beautiful thing Brett is that you knew there was a God to be angry with, hence there was faith. God bless you for sharing this miraculous story. Josh, you're a son parents would be proud of. Keep on doing what God has given you to do.
Absolutely riveting story. Especially at the end where Brett sums it up about life being difficult and its how you deal with it, and to keep things simple. 💯

Wow, what a story! Close to tears. I was educated during this podcast. I wasn't aware of secondary drowning 😳 or thought to tell the doctors on board about trying to drown myself!

My father, a fellow south African man, fell off his yacht at nightwatch sailing up Mozambique, he was in the water for 40 hours and swam to shore to save himself!!!

A true miracle that he survived! The mozam authorities treated him terribly... Demanding his passport when he got to shore.... All he had on was his baggies - how was he supposed to grab his passport as he fell overboard?!! Once we knew he was alive.... My mom made connections with a local mine in the area that was run by SOUTH AFRICANS, they said "he is one of us" and completely took over and returned him back to health 👏🏼 south Africans truly do look out for each other!!!
The fact that this man swam in absolute darkness in the ocean is impressive i would've probably fainted
Enjoyed this podcast :D
this is incredible!
Incredible story
this man is the most amazing person I have ever seen
Wonderful story. This needs to be made into a Movie! But adapted to include some scenes of things you thought about doing. I can't stop picturing you grabbing a seagull, biting its neck, drinking its blood, eating it....all while floating in the sea. 🏊♀

That’s a great idea and I think they could animate his thoughts! The seagull scene would be crazy 😂
Sitting in the water makes me laugh..is like meditation above the water
