Strain Hunters RAW: Colombia - Behind the scene's with VICE - Part 1

Ойын-сауық

In 2013 the Strain Hunters invited VICE to come with them to Colombia to film the first episode of the Kings of Cannabis series hosted by Krishna and filmed by Jackson. The documentary shows the behind the scenes footage from this epic expedition. In loving memory of our brother Franco Loja. RIP.

Damn I miss hash! I wonder why people in the u.s. aren’t into it. It is light years better than some chemically extracted dab full of solvent and garbage. Cannabis isn’t like it used to be either, people focused too much on high THC levels and not on all the cannabinoids and Turpines involved in the process. New cannabis strains might be higher THC but I guarantee they’re not as good as the stuff in this video or old school stuff

I wish just one commercial grower of legal weed, would produce some Colombian Gold, like what we had back in the late 70's early 80's. Light tan/yellow color, It had a taste I would enjoy being reminded of. It would be really interesting to see if it was anything as good as one remembers, or if it was just great compared to some of the other stuff, which was not. I was fortunate to be friends with some folks with great connections, and we sampled stuff from all around the world. When I think about the fact that I threw away a lot of great seed, that makes me sad, but it was never worth the risk of having all my property stolen and my life ruined to grow it. Much safer to just buy it, and boy did we.

But i followed my love for the plant and now im working on organic medicine for me and my family. It is because of you guys that i see a true lifestyle in preserving genetics.
