The effects do start wearing off if you dont do it weekly

Wow! I actually tried this. Only did it once. I have black, curly/natural hair. After rinsing, I notice that my hair is extremely soft. The curls are like waves. I actually parted my hair in sections and put in the mixture, because my hair is thick and long. And, I kept it in for 1 hour instead of 30 mins. I wash my hair once a week. So, I will do this again each week, for a few weeks and see how it works.

I did lol. It wasn't as effective as I thought it would be on my hair, and it didn't become straight -- or maybe I just did it wrong? I don't know. It's been months and I've had my hair cut at least thrice already and I have a long bob cut now and to be honest, I just love my hair the way it is.

Im currently having the mask in my hair!:) my hair is 3b/c and Im going to be doing this for the coming 4 days and then once a week. I’ll update! Im always on my phone and I never forget updating like everyone else lol!🙄 *DAY 1* : No major changes in my hair as pretty expected, my hair even got a little drier?:( oh well! I’ll keep trying for 3 more days! *DAY 2* : no major differences today again. I feel like my hair has lost volume which is good? But my locks are still curly. Its definitely smooth and a bit shiny! Lets go for two more days and then once a week! *DAY 3* My hair has definitely lost some volume and its sooo shiny, smooth and my curls are so much more defined now!! Im going for 5 days instead of 4 just because! And then Im going to be doing this once a week! *DAY 4* Almost forgot to update lol! Anyway, no difference compared to yesterday. My hair is very moisturized though which is good!! I dont think I ever will be able to naturally get my hair straight, I might have to look into permanent hair straightening. Or Im shaving all my hair off in the future to treat my fresh hair better! *DAY 5* Last day! Only kept in for 30 minutes today! This experince was great! My hair is extremely moisturized! *QUICK THING:* If you have natural black hair like me, this will definitely *NOT* turn your hair straight. It will most likely only moisture your hair, define your curls and get rid of the frizz. But its still worth it! Im rocking my cute curls!

It's my third week of trying this method. What I've found is that this method doesn't actually straighten your hair fully but instead makes it soft, less frizzy and bit by bit it straights out. Btw I let it stay for an hour before I wash them.

I have not tried this but I have tried the another remedy and it worked for me. The things needed for it are Fuller's Earth powder(2spoon) Gram flour(1spoon) Curd(1spoon) And 1 spoon of water Mix it The consistency should we normal and apply it for 30 mins, then rinse it with shampoo and condition your hair.

I'd love to try this out before the summer... I stopped heat styling my hair many years ago so I could grow it long, but I personally don't love the waves and spirals in my hair, or the horrible frizz if it gets wet in the rain or on a damp day... maybe I'll give it a try to see what happens!

my mom has been trying to make my hair long from when I was six years old. its curly so it took a while to grow but its working a lot im now 10 yrs old and my hair grows 3 inches below my shoulders but I've wanted straight hair and my mom doesn't think that's a bad idea because it will be easier to detangle and other reasons so this helped a lot thankyou😊

This is a usefull video. I learned to use this after my wife placed this recommendation. I didn't know this before. It is what I would use. I would also recommend trying this with lighter oils and avoiding dry herb liquids and tea for a starter's effect wish on the rather obviousness side. Keeping out of tea rest containers for use. This is probably the best tip and the ingredient available for this cleaning effect.

I naturally have striaght hair but I was an idiot and permed it wavy because I always wanted wavy/curly hair and as a kid I had pretty natural waves but it went away as I got older. I thought it would give me more volume but it ended up just looking like a frizzy mess. Hope this works for permed hair. I’m probably just going to stick to wet overnight braids when my hair grows out.

If my natural hair looked THAT good, I wouldn't bother to straighten it. I'm like, DAMN that curly hair is SO soft and frizz free.

So I tried this it is amazing but I will tell you it doesn't straighten your hair permantly when you come out of the shower but maybe it happens once you do a couple of treatments. I will tell you this your hair will feel soft when you come out of the shower. So for thick hair straighten it twice or even three times but to keep my hair that straight because it's so thick I straighten four times. The results when you straighten it for the second time your is like silky and soft and absolutely no frizz. I was so happy with the treatment so it's become my go to now with my hair masks. I also use coconut oil with it. But this recipe works it is incredible it has saved my hair and has transformed it so much it is no longer dry its incredible so girls it works but you have to be patient. I advise you try this recipe especially for people with thick hair and frizzy hair.

It really works! I have natural straight hair,for layered hair cut my hair looks wavy which I don't like,I tried this method two times n it really made my hair smooth n comparatively more straight.... I loved it

Dhabdjajsjsh i needed this. I damn sit here depressed n shit because i have curly/wavy hair almost identicle to that girls. I absolutely dread it! 🚨it won't work on damaged hair🚨 It Works i guess but In my opinion, this will not straighten your hair directly and permanently, but your hair will become straight little by little, the more curly your hair is the longer it takes, depending on your hair type + if you want an permanently you need to do it once every week and remember cornstarch not cornflour 🙂💗 ,you have to be patient, God will not disappoint you, i will try it one more days inshaallah😭💗💗 Edit : i do this every 5 days + instead of water i boil lady finger and then blend it and mix it with the cornstarch and some oil + trust allah and then inshallah you will achieve your goal + this is the best mask ever mashaallah 😭💗💗 ( wait until my hair is dry )+ mom telled me that the curls been disapper alhamduliallah Day 3 : effective mashaallah but you need to take care of your hair like use conditioner and serum etc... (My english 😭😭) Alhamduliallah If your hair is damaged, just mix the olive oil with honey and put it on the fire, then leave it for an hour on your hair. I tried it today on my bang, which was damaged, and it is very effective. Say mashallah guys it really worth it And just like i seed before It's do not work on damaged hair treat your hair before use it

I'm so tired of my curly hair. my hair is 3A-3B curls and it's so thick and exhausting to take care of. I always have to keep it in a bun or a ponytail when I'm out bc if I leave it out it will get ruined due to humidity. and it's soooo hard to manage and detangle. I never got the chance to try different hairstyles or feel comfortable and confident in my hair. I would love having wavy soft silky hair.

I have curly hair and whenever I want to make it look nice it gets tangled and when I try to straighten my hair it turns into a big reck and it takes 3 hours. I want to do this but my parents will get mad. But when I get older I will make my own decisions.

@@sarah-wt6ef Thanks 💜 Honestly, I am quite strict or at least I used to be stricter. Lately, I started to be more lenient and try to catch myself before interfering in their personal choices. My daughters are good kids, I don't have to take every single decision for them.

BTW, for anyone concerned ... I tried this hair mask and it did not make any difference 😬 do not waste your time and ingredients. I have wavy, straight at some parts hair and thought why not give it a shot ... it was a waste of time honestly.

I am going to try this out guyz! Imma update y'all after Update: so yeah guyz i tried this well i must say it didn't straight my hair but in the other hand my hair was so shiny and smooth. I think this will work if you use an straightening iron like what I've done.

Imma shut up and be back once I finish the mask thing! * Starting today! I'm currently making it and writing the instructions so I don't have to rewind! 2 Cups of water 2 Tabelspoons of cornstarch Mix and let boil Cook for 1 min after Boiling Apply and leave on hair for 30 mins Rinse off Day 1:A few curls loosened, but nothing big overall. My hair is still frizzy and curly Day 2: I got lazy and took a break BUT I’m noticing it loosen in the back. I used a denman brush, but overall it’s getting a bit looser. I think imma do it again cuz I’m bored so I’ll be back in like a hour. Day 3:

Does that really work to smooth hair... well I have natural straight hair so it doesn’t matter if it really can straight or not... I just want smoothness ....

My hair refuses to straighten (I'm Mexican and Irish, both my parents have super curly hair) so I am trying everything

Does this work with any/every hair type?

4 Oct '23. If you look at my profile pic you will see what I achieved with this. I blow-dried my hair using the same technique as the Dominican stylists (as opposed to how American black stylists blow), so no ironing needed afterwards. I am South African and most of our stylists blow amd set like I've seen the Dominicans do. I have 3 a/b thin fine curls. So for my hair type, blow-drying technique is very important. This was the best my hair ever looked blow-dried. I will not be doing this regularly bc I love and prefer my curl but it was nice to switch it up for a change. I washed my hair after 3 days and my curls were popping even better than before. The vid I followed said to shampoo first, then apply the mix. I added oil and honey as well. If I do it again I will add a tbsp of conditioner. My hair felt a bit more course than when I do my usual wash and go. That aside, it worked fantastically for blow-drying but thats not how I intend wearing my hair. Its worth a try if you don't want to wear your hair naturally curly.

I've tried so hard to love my natural curly hair but, it just gets on my nerves and having to wake up constantly taking the nots is very irritating. And trust me my curls are not pretty they are dry and very frizzy. But to those who have a hard time loving their natural hair, it's okay to dislike something or like it bc its what you want not what others like. ❤

How did you air dry so quickly? My hair is only barely to my shoulders and it takes 2 hours to air dry, and that's after it's been towel tussled a bit
