Myobrace and myofunctional therapy are conservative methods my office tends to promote for proper palate development and tooth placement in kids 7-14-ish, and myobrace can also help straighten teeth in adults. It’s not perfect, but the results have been absolutely astonishing, and can be used as a preset into traditional orthodontics or Invisalign. I would love to see you look into this method! -CDA

I did Invisalign, switched orthodontists then went with ceramic braces. Lost the retainer. Got a frenectomy then did Invisalign one last time. Absolutely love my smile. No more self consciousness 😁 I consider March 9th my braces/Invisalign off anniversary because March 9th 2020 I got my ceramic braces off. Then March 9th 2023 got my Invisalign off 🦷

Please can I ask is it extremely risky attempting to straighten teeth at home with these orthodontic retainers you can buy on eBay and Amazon?

Teeth that are rotated can typically be curved by any type of orthodontics, but it depends on severity onto which method is best. A consult with a trusted orthodontist would be needed to discuss the best option for you and your situation.

But the traditional metal braces are the best ones, bcoz they can correct almost all sort of malocclusions... It's just that patient has to be patient for quite a sometime and bear the braces for a couple of years. Then they can have the perfect teeth for the lifetime 😊😊😌

How many children will die by the age of 40 because of all of the radiation x-ray received just so that the parents will have a child with a "beautiful smile" a "beautiful smile" is overrated.

The amount of radiation when you get x-rayed is about the same as you get exposed naturally over 10 days (if you live in a sunny country or for example Australia it's about the week). So it pretty safe to get x-ray once in a month and a half (if I remember correctly) because your organism clears that radiation from your body over that time.

@@K17ASU so why does the dentist put a lead blanket on me and then run out of the room before he hits the red button? The Sunny day argument is simply a sales pitch. The Truth is that if we simply accept a person with the teeth they were born with we would eventually find beautiful people with those teeth. Remember when families would hide children with mental syndromes. We no longer do that and the world has become a better place. The same can be done with a kid who has crooked teeth. The USA where straight teeth is everything ranks 10th in high cancer rates just behind those other straight teeth loving countries now compared it to Mexico where no one gives a dam about straight teeth, they have the lowest cancer rate. So what is better straight teeth at the cancer ward or crooked teeth at your wedding?

@@K17ASU The statement that the dentist makes before pushing the red Nuke button is “do not worry. You are getting the same radiation as being out in the sun” . Then he puts a lead blanket on you and runs out of the room. Which means he is really making a sales pitch to sell you unnecessary dental work called “STRAIGHT TEETH”. There was a time when parents kept their mentally challenged children in the house because they were embarrassed. But that has changed. We as a society have come to care and accept those children because they have been released into the public for all to accept unconditionally. So why not allow your child to keep the teeth he was born with without hiding him behind a metal cage call braces? Trust me, let crooked teeth be and society will eventually accept a person as such and make judgements about them on the basis of something more meaningful like attitude. So what is the harm with straight teeth? Answer: cancer. Today the USA RANKS 10TH IN CANCER RATES JUST BEHIND ALL OF THOSE OTHER COUNTRIES WHERE STRAIGHT TEETH IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ATTRIBUTE. Now Mexico has the lowest cancer rate. Mexico a place where survival is more important than looks. No one can afford braces their. But they can afford their next meal, clothing and shelter, but just barely. So the question becomes straight teeth at the cancer ward or crooked teeth at your wedding?
