You not only hiked the adventure of a lifetime, but you have led your viewers on an adventure of a lifetime! I have watched every one of your videos and I have watched many NOBO 2023 hikers, and no others have documented this adventure like you have. Your wit, humor, philosophy, gratitude, and your beautiful smile have been a major factor to the success of your videos. The way you have conversations with yourself to the camera make us feel that we are hiking right with you. You have met so many people on the trail for a reason...they were all meant to learn from you and be touched by your presence. You are truly a magnificent person that we can all admire and learn from, and you are an example of what a person should be. We will miss your videos and remember you for a lifetime. Hope you will make more videos in the future so we can keep in touch with you. God Bless and carry on being Frizzle, one of the most memberable hikers of the AT!

I am catching up with your videos and cannot wait to watch you hike up to Katadin! I am so grateful to have been a viewer on your amazing adventure. My husband is 62 and I'm 59. We got started hiking just a few years ago. We have enjoyed your journey and you are such an amazing storyteller. Such an inspiration. We don't think we could do the AT . I know I would only do it with him and could never go solo. But we thank you for taking us on the trail and letting us hike along with you. God bless.

Love the loons. Your vlogs have some of the most beautiful nature sounds. So funny how the 100 mile wilderness is so busy with people. 3mph is fast through all those roots. I watch hiker blogs while on my treadmill (at only 2.5mph) and I find myself looking down at the trail so I don’t trip on all the roots 😂 Congrats on your achievement 👏👏👏

I have loved watching you on this amazing journey. I cry sometimes. I am happy for you to have it coming to an end but I will miss watching you and seeing the amazing beauty on the trail. Bless you. |After going on a two day hike two weeks ago, I fell at my dog's agility class and broke my hip, how ironic. Anyway, the first thing I asked the surgeon was if I would be still be able to do the AT. He said "maybe"....at 80 probably not but watching you do it is almost as good. Ms. R.

Can't believe you are talking about the day you will climb Katahadin. Simply amazing. Beautiful Tassel Rue at 24:17, for those of you who don't know the plant, each flower is pretty small and together makes a fuzzy flower. Blueberries, and those look very tasty. Sorry Katahadin is in the clouds for your near view.

As soon as you heard the loon, IK you'd attempt to find locate it. Having visited at least 30 NPs, I understand your feelings. I came away with the same feeling. There's "Bud" Wise" & "Er" in the background. Dowm when wet stinks. It tends to clump. That would be interesting to hike the AT in a tux! Seeing the trees uprooted wind damage due to snow. I remember seeing a tree with at least 10 adult Bald Eagles in Glacier NP. Juveniles have brown heads. They're 3-5 yrs. old. They change into white plumage around 4 yrs. old. You don't realize how big they are until stand underneath one. I did at Glacier. I was standing in 5 ' of snow taking photos, and he was roosting on a barren limb directly above me. He was staring at me thinking "Stupid tourist". I looked at him and said "Thanks for not squacking!" It weighs at least 5#. LOL!!! IK that youse is glad you didn't quit and finished your journey. Looking forward to seeing you on the sign.
