Over 6 months of working out and two 2 month cycles with 1 month off in between, I dropped 22lbs and 10% body fat (4 mo use), lost an additional 8lbs off cycle due to changing eating habits (fasting, 2 meals)). Started out around 236/26% and ended at 206/16%. Leaner, more energy and my HRV went up 15-20 points. It also provided the ability to run without getting winded or tired. This could do nothing for some and work great for others but you have to make changes to get results for anything in life.

It’s worth noting that studies on rats where ecdysteroids even outperformed DBOL, are dosed at 5mg/kg body weight. So for example with gorilla minds Turk which is standardised to 10% - this means you are getting 50mg per capsule of pure Turk. If you weigh 80kg you need to have 8 caps a day for a total of 400mg (5mg/kg). I’ve had hugely noticeable improvements in strength, recovery, endurance & weirdly enough even digestion has improved. They work. But only if you dose them properly and aren’t afraid to spend a lot of money.

Because its such a high dose, and from what I’ve learned you only need 10-15 mg a day, I planned on taking it solely before workouts. The directions say to use one in the morning and one at night. After having heard about its short duration in the body, I may go to two a day. Not sure yet

It is absolutely not backed by science. And it doesn't work like a steroid for sure. But turkesterone/ecdysterone definitely does something. I think it's just a mystery right now. I took edcysterone a few years ago back when it was expensive. It didn’t increase my muscle or strength but one thing I noticed was that I was losing belly fat. That was enough for me to continue using it. Then I started to develop these headaches that I’ve never had before. I didn’t know what was causing it so I stop using edcysterone and it went away. As soon as I start using it again, my headaches would come back. The price of edcysterone & turkesterone has gone down significantly. I’m thinking about trying turkesterone to see what happens.

Everyone is different but I bought it from bulk supplements and used it for 4 months consistently each day at with two separate servings: 2500 mg pre workout and 2500mg post workout in my protein. I used it through my bulk and during my cut. I have been a natural physique competitor for 8 years. My daily calorie intake in my bulk was between 3000-3200. I thought it would be a placebo as well but I went from 167lb, 12% to 182lb, 15% BF in 4 months. During my cut I dropped to 172lb, 9% BF. I usually compete around 165/167lb. It was evident to me and others around me that I gained some lean muscle. In all of the years I've been training I've never been able to gain that much so quickly with the same calorie intake. You gain weight quite slowly as a natural and I'm 39 yrs old, so I'm not young nor new to training at all. I'm not saying that it will work for everyone but it appears to work for some 🤷🏾‍♀️. I remember when everyone said SARMs didn't or wouldn't work and now I see quite a different view point. Or it may be like creatine where everyone isn't a responder to it. Time will tell

Unfortunate analysis from Jerry here. Ecdysterone very notably attaches to the estrogen receptor beta. Which does, in fact, act the same as an androgen receptor in this case (edit: i misspoke before, clarification). There are approx 4300 papers published on ecdysteroids, I'm not sure why he's focusing only on 50 year old Russian studies. Jerry, I'd be quite happy to send you a sample of my double complexed liquid for you to try. The results are surprising and run quite counter to your take . The problem is low oral bioavailability and low doses by nearly all companies.

As many here state, "It does SOMETHING" and there IS plenty of science behind how and why ... perhaps just not the particular mechanisms that are given credit to by so many. In a few hours, I've got an 'answer video' to Greg Doucette's recent spin job on this topic and some additional information. Hopefully some people check it out.
