my friend and i had an uber take us to the airport and the whole time he was breaking down the math of what he was going to get, saying stuff like "f the man!" which is valid. but then he started talking about how he used to be "a government agent in my country and now I am an uber driver, making $xx.xx for this" Like sir...... we are as angry as u about companies scalping us but all this guilty rage for what?!?! now we are afraid of u and wish we got a lyft LMAO

That driver is creepy as fuck. I am happy you are okay.

As a former Uber Driver, I would NEVER mention that to a passenger. That's not your problem, what I get paid, unless the address is wrong, or we are going through a toll and you want me to avoid the toll so you don't get charged, or you're asking for extra stops that weren't previously mentioned, etc. I honestly feel he felt the need to comment on what "Must be nice" was directed at you cuz you're a young black SUCCESSFUL woman. No grown-ass man would say that to a 6-foot midlife white male executive. Would'nt have the balls. lol OR maybe he was just having a bad day - again either way, not your problem. I apologize on behalf of the Uber driver. lol WE LOVE YOU! LOL

Grrl I know what you mean. As a former international flight attendant I realize that traveling in the United States means traveling with individuals who don’t travel as often. So often times you get people who are super aggressive and offensive. That’s why I always recommend sleeping aides, puzzles anything to keep your mind occupied. Be safe out there Kelly girl ! Oh… my…. God… I had that same thing happen to me. I was waiting for the bus to go to work and this guy kept talking to me about sOciAliZiNg and asking for my name to get to know me. I had my work badge on with my name (I forgot) and I was like no I don’t wanna share my name and he kept laughing and asking for my name it was weeeiiiird. I hate when I’m alone and a random pulls up on me unprovoked.

I can relate to everytime I sit in a corner by myself, someone come to talk to me as if I asked to have company.. Happens also when I part AWAY in a parking lot, someone park right..next..to...my ..vehicle.. I mean the lot is half-empty... WHYYYY?? that storytime made my morning

I think people think it is funny. I would park in the "middle" of the parking lot far from the other cars and "always" someone would park directly next to me! it doesn't matter where I go! the same thing happens.

I have an embarrassing 38 entire hours but I refuse to solo after my terrible instructor drove me through the worst turbulence ever in Jacksonville and we basically dropped what felt like 150 feet 😂

@@KellyStamps That's not embarrassing! Oh noooo!!! I soloed at 54hrs but everyone is different! and now I'm a CFI/CFII. Best advice after something like that is to just get back in the plane and face your fears! Maybe don't focus on a high intensity flight lesson but a joy flight to get your spirits up and what got you interested in the 1st place! :)

People do that to me all the time. I will go into a place to eat and the server will basically tell me their entire life story, Im thinking they are trying to guilt trip for a good tip. We usually end up being kinda like friends eventually. Its like everywere I go no-one is a stranger.

Being a introvert can be annoying at times like you wanna make friends but you just hold back i get it

Reminds me of a train ride one night from Pueblo to Kansas City. The woman next to me slept the entire night on my shoulder. In the morning I asked her if she would like to talk. No response. So, I ask in my best Spanish. No response. It was okay. I hope all your rides are at least okay.

Literally had that same experience with a Lyft driver last night, to get a good tip I was going to give anyway. Shared and complained about the cut Lyft takes and the amount he was getting for the ride right after saying he supposedly waited an hour for at the airport to get a ride, then described how the Lyft and Uber drivers drive into cities from suburbs to work for 3-4 days at a time at 16-18 hour shifts, sleep in their car, shower at Planet Fitness, and sometimes share a motel room with 3-4 others to save costs. Then went onto news about a disaster that happened in the news. Is this a new trend with drivers?
