Here is one of the all-time greats. No one has the respect or brains to give David a classroom where the door is closed and he can be listened to without distractions. Teaching in this noisy setting must have been even more difficult for him than for all of us trying to learn from him. He deserves better.

had him as a teacher at SVA, he has very critical and insightful eye and really helps you find the flaws to your storytelling and get on the path of improving.

Simple and direct teaching. Just like his work. Such a great introduction to comics by one of the few people still pushing the medium.

Quote of the day - on the blackboard to the right: "There's no such thing as fail or win, there is only try. The *only* way to "fail" is to give up." Well, isn't that the total opposite of Yoda's wise words?

31:11 Sure... One can become a Comic book Artist, even if one cannot Draw whatsoever. We see many Comic book Artists working today, that are horrible Artists. Not only Illustrating children's books but working for the big two

*Well, Manga is mostly a "shorthand" like letters and numbers; so, even if you can't really "draw", you can still create images using the shorthand of Manga.*
