O Allah, please Grant me a spouse who You are pleased with. A spouse who I’m compatible with emotionally, mentally, spiritually, intellectually, physically, and morally. A spouse who I can serve and worship Him with, praise and glorify Him with, and sanctify His name with. A spouse who I can raise righteous children with for His Sake. A spouse who I can live in peace and tranquillity with. A spouse I can have fun and enjoy and have in peace in this life and the next. Walaikum Asalaam we are a black Muslim couple though so I don’t see a problem. We are in the west and we know Islam has no room for that discrimination however that doesn’t stop people in the ummah from treating black muslim differently at times. Also, There’s not much representation on KZread with people who look like us. So for other black Muslims that want to get married and see that’s it’s possible the title is necessary.
