It's sad that a lot of characters from Soto just kinda off and disappeared after we left Amnytas in the story. I'd at least thought that R'tchikk and Glade would be with us in Nayos.

How the plot has Mabon dying by getting tethered to a nobody while Dagda and Isgarren get over the corruption by just getting some sense beaten into them is quite beyond me, was really hopeful to have some worldbuilding lore around race of earlier dragon cycle. At least Isgarren implied existence of other Mursaat in the Mists, but I suppese meeting another as likely as Isgarren not using a djinn's animation.

Yeah, how Mabon was handled was a little annoying. I was really looking forward to hearing more about the Mursaat as well, though I think Aber is setting up some cool stuff none the less.

I think the idea is that Dagda and Isgarren's corruptions were a recent event, while Mabon had actually been successfully fighting off the Kriptis for a much longer time, so when he finally succumbed it wasn't unlike a dam breaking and by the time we got to him he was too far gone. I do hope they give us more on this though.
