As a photographer I had a woman come in with her kids, she wanted to make portraits for her husband. She explained that no men were allowed to see her without her hijab, and asked if there was anyway to place the entrance to the studio to protect her privacy. We finally taped, stapled, and propped up blankets etc to block the sight line into my camera room. That night as I was falling asleep, my brain replaying the events of the day, and it occurred to me that other men WERE going to see her, the lab techs, printer operators etc. At the home office. I have always felt bad that I didn’t think of that. Since I’m not Muslim I don’t have a deep understanding of the practice. A male Muslim friend told me that if he gets shexually aroused it’s the woman’s fault… the conversation went really south after that. It’s not my business to question another persons religious practices, but I do enjoy learning from you, like “the more you know” 😊

@BH S Exactly. Men also have a "hijab" that they're supposed to follow, and part of that is to lower the gaze. If a man is looking at a woman inappropriately, he is at fault! As for the woman, it's judged (by Allah) on intention, just like everything else. If she intended to attract attention, then she shares the blame. But otherwise, she does not. Either way, the man is still in the wrong to look at her like that!
THAT CAKE OMG ITS SO COOL!!

I agree that religion is something that everyone has to choose for themselves and that is actually a verse in the Quran. However, we are told to hide our beauty and adornments, of which her "gorgeous hair" clearly falls under. It's not immodest as in "sexual" or anything weird like that, but there is some level of protection from the evil eye for example by hiding all of one's adornments, such as hair.

@@louistomlinsonmademedefens6044 no you don't have to wear hijab in front of women. So you only wear it in front of men in laws for the exception of your father-in-law 'cause in Islam you're not allowed to marry your father-in-law
Pov: he wasn't actually blind 💀
That cake is so cool I love venom and Spider-Man
That Spiderman/Venom cake is so incredibly amazing!!🥺❤❤
Love the cake!!
That cake looks so cool!!!!!!!
Mom's worried he could make out her shape using echolocation or something 🤣
This is so pretty! I showed this to my brother and he really liked it he’s been loving Spider-Man since he was 1 years old.
Actually my school taught me about the reason women wear those and I think more schools should do that
I haven’t seen you for a while! I’m happy I found you again😊
Salaam, love your videos! Heard of a Hadith recently when talking about Haya and thought I should share: Umm Salamah reported: While we were with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, Ibn Maktum was given permission to enter. He entered and that was after the command to veil. The Prophet said, “Veil yourselves from him.” I said, “O Messenger of Allah, is he not blind? He cannot see or recognize us.” The Prophet said, “Are you blind such that you cannot see him?” Source: Sunan al-Tirmidhī 2278 Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Al-Tirmidhi

Ibn Maktum RA was the Sahabah that Surah Abasa was about
I can’t be the only person that thinks this video is so Satisfying
“Other then that, no one.” Listed literally every single family member
same thing happened to me with a blind uncle, but the opposite.. mom said it is ok not wearing a scarf, but I knew that wearing the scarf is for me, not for him.. otherwise I'd feel naked🌚 ++ sensing her presence is a lot to him.. you'll never know!
The cake is amazing also thanks for the hijab info. It’s really cool to learn about other cultures. I love all your videos their great and your so sweet and nice. 😊
I love hearing the rules and reasons for the hijab. I have a lot of respect for all religion's beliefs and ways. Thank you for sharing that! Also... THAT CAKE! I NEED THAT CAKE!!! ❤❤❤
not the fact that every time “great” was said, there would be a goat emoji
Oh my word that cake was so freaking dope!!! Wow 12/10 🔥
The cake looks dope asf ❤❤❤
Beautiful cake!
"Because I gave birth to them" Haha im sorry but that was priceless!XD
Was it just me who at first thought the cake was going to be a pokeball?
I love the wild disconnect between the story and the cake. 😄 Both were delightful though.
I didn’t actually realize how many people are still able to see your hair- I thought it was a direct relation or intimate thing, so I thought like in-laws would be seperate. Really interesting tho!

It's basically anyone who you can't marry. Men who can see her without hijab are: dad, brothers, uncles, grandfathers, great grandfathers and great uncles, or even great-great-etc, sons, sons in law, father in law, grandfather in law, and obviously her husband, as well as young boys who haven't hit puberty. I think that's it. I'm a hijabi btw. Just to clarify, we only wear hijab outside, we don't wear it in our home because usually at home the only men there are just ur dad and brothers.

@@EmanDeMoanThat includes women (adult, not girls) too then. They weren’t mentioned and I thought they would be. Of course a woman cannot marry another woman.
Father in law and uncles can see too? I would think you'd need to be modest around them too. Interesting. Thanks for this explanation.

Yes, because you can’t marry them
"or ex - brother in law I should say " I weezed that was Savage
Oh we learnt this in school 😁 I have my junior sert in a week so I definitely need to remember this!
"I don't understand when people ask me that question" I mean, these kind of specific rules around it are beyond logic to most non-muslims, so we don't really know when to use our logic, don't blame us on that lol
Why I think it would be a pokeball💀💀💀
I’m Muslim (I do not wear a hijab) but I do know a lot about the hijab and I’m pretty sure that is fine
That cake is incredible!!
Lol, what an awesome cake! I’ll bet my nephews would love it!
Idk if this is strange but… So since I’m about to turn 10 I still need to sit and a kids area when my mum goes to the gym. When my mum finished her workout at the gym,She told me to come with her in the locker rooms like the toilets, lockers, mirrors for touching up makeup etc. A woman at the gym wasn’t wearing her hijab during her time at the gym,And when went in the locker rooms to wait for my mother finishing in the bathrooms. This woman was quickly putting her hijab back on after I saw her hair…. Just so you know this also is an only woman’s gym idk if that does anything but yeah..
I respect modesty, but its weird to learn true self control if the world is all modest imo. In India, the women started showing some arms and the men were still drooling like dogs...after decades of modesty. You teach your body to chill, and just see another as a human, clothed or not. Not knocking anyones beliefs 🙏 for some it works just fine.
This is one of the coolest cakes I’ve seen you make😍 those teeth! That tongue! Next level girl.
Mashalla love the video. :)
