Small addition to Vinnie mixing, if you mix a tree seed with any S ranked crop seed, you get S ranked tree seed back. Easy S ranked hybrid or secret tree seeds for some good money!

Tip #6: Plant your trees smart - you can plant 15 trees on first field. Trees don't need to have full 8 squares boarder around them. Till very corner of field, plant tree there and then till next till-able spot and plant tree there. Then rinse and repeat.

When it comes to vinnie something worth noting is that different flowers will effect seeds differently. Like how the trick blue flowers will turn the seeds blue and let you grow blue crops

I love that the records are all references to the older games in the series, it makes finding them all even more fun because you get to pop them in and listen to old songs

I've been trying to get the records from a few people in town, their friendship needs to be almost maxed for them to give it to you it seems. Getting the record from Takakura is going to be fun though because i was planning on maxing everyone's friendship anyway so now it's nice to know I'll get rewarded for it lol

Something that is new to the SoS remake that wasn't in the original is that you can cross the river near the waterfall between the forest and dig site. I didn't notice until winter of my first year. Really helps with saving time between going to the dig site from the farm.

It's not just Vinnie's friendship that can decay over time. I maxed Vesta's and Nina's friendship to the highest, the XD face, then stopped talking to them for a good while. I figured once maxed I could focus on other villagers. When I checked back they dropped back down to a smiley :) face.

For the Taku record does everyone include the bachelors/Bachelorettes or every other villager?

5 tips? Isn't there only 4 male bachelors though

so this is the only thing i don’t like about the remake- i feel like there’s so many things to accomplish in so little time. on the Game Cube version, each chapter was multiple years long, while on this version i’ve read there’s only 6 chapters that are a year long each. I’m on year 4 and my character has already aged! and she’s always tired since i stay up late trying to get everything done 😫

i wouldnt care too much if they had a new game + option where you start off with the money you had left over or something. im fiding it difficult to raise enough money for everything i want to get in my play through. :( so it would be nice to try again with a leg up

They actually nerfed it from the original GameCube version, so imagine how hard it was back then. Try to make odd shapes that they won’t see coming, not your obvious triangle, diamond or trapezoid. Skip lines so they won’t see the connection until it’s too late for them to block you.
