Olowo and Oba of Benin were never siblings of the same mother. Benin conquest extended towards Idoani and Owo in those days. Also there were export of cultures from Benin to Owo because at that time Owo and its environs were paying tributes and royalties to Oba of Benin and so there constant movements of emissaries across the kingdoms

Histories of Oba of Benin in Igodomigodo and Olowo of Owo have been going on for 800 years. Do you think what obtains at a time of one generation or set of generations is what obtains in another? History is never static. It is always from one instance to the next. Change is what is constant.
