@@Gold171 I am assuming as there is no collar on him and generally stray cats in Turkey are fed and cared for by cat lovers that is probably why he is looking so healthy. I will see if I can find more info on him.

I don't agree cats are free spirited animals. Why people are so obsessed with keeping animals at home which is opposite to their nature. As long as they have a shelter and food like in Istanbul, it is better for them to be outside. We don't see them as our property we don't even call them stray cats, we call them community cats.

@@rumeysa4686 To say that you obviously never owned a cat. Cats are domesticated creatures and like nothing better then to have a loving home where they don't have to worry about food or the weather. Keeping cats inside not only protects wildlife it also help them to live longer by not being exposed to diseases, accidents, poisons, animal attacks etc. Most cats struggle to survive on their own outdoors and have to be rescued. My 2 rescued cats from a local animal shelter love being indoors...they are both healthy and happy!

@@ET-fk8ty I know that they love a loving house and I do agree with some of your points. What I mean is that whenever people from outside of Turkey see the community cats, they immediately say adopt them. No. You can't just collect all cats from the streets. Once they have a safe shelter and food outside, they are happier than being inside. Most cats are happy at home because people keep them at home all the time and they do not know the outside world so they fear the unknown. Bring an istanbul cat to your home. It will want to go outside some time later. Because they prefer outside, they are free there, they can go wherever they want. People always look after them, pet them, give them food... In other countries, yes you should adopt them but Istanbul cats should not be touched. They are happy because they own the whole city.

Honestly, I know this is off topic to the video but as a Muslim, seeing this video just made me lose hope for the faith and Islam of Turkey. How many people do you see that have beards? That are dressed modestly? Hardly any to none. Pretty sad. Looks like a typical European country while donning the flag of their great ancestors who fought, died and lived for Allah. So depressing.
