Story Of Brahmarishi Vishwamitra

Story Of Brahmarishi Vishwamitra
Brahmarishi Vishvamitra is one of the most respected and celebrated Rishis of ancient India. A divine being of sorts, he is also accredited as the author of most of Mandala 3 of the Rig Veda, as also the most sacred Gayatri Mantra. The Puranas talk of only 24 Rishis since the beginning of time, who have understood the actual meaning of and have wielded the power of the Gayatri Mantra. Vishvamitra is considered to be the first among them; the last being Yajnavalkya. The story of Vishvamitra also features in the Valmiki Ramayana. In the Valmiki Ramayana, prose 51 of Bala Kanda starts with his tale. Brahmarishi Vishvamitra was originally a king, called Kaushika. He was a descendant of King Kushanabha, who belonged to the Amavasu Dynasty.

The story of Vishwamitra Rishi is the most inspiring he went from being a normal and arrogant king and went to do intense and impossible penance and had to face obstacles and got defeated but still didn’t stop he reached the point of completely draining his spiritual power and became a normal human which would’ve been the most frustrating thing ever but still used that anger to make his penance even more intense and hardcore and he was so powerful that fire started to emerge from his forehead and started to consume everything then finally the devas pleaded lord brahma and Vishwamitra finally became a brahmarishi and lost his anger and jealousy and can now create infinite universes with his power he has the power of lord Brahma and he also taught lord Rama and lord Lakshmana
