The Iron Lung creation is a recreation of a the submarine from the short horror game "Iron Lung." Its a very interesting and cool game and might explain the design choices of the sub more.

I saw the thumbnail, didn't read the title, thought this was space engineers, but was even more impressed at the fact that it's this game. from personal experience, i have to say i never got my head round the editor, so this stuff is really amazing to me

16:15 I started playing Stormworks with the ultra-realism theme going. Everything had a gauge, everything had a switch, but the longer I played the more I started to think about what things are done semi automatically and what things are done fully automatically. He talks about adding a sensor to turn the lights on and off which might sound lazy, but in reality I rarely think about turning the light switch on at my house, so why should I pain myself with turning on every light switch for EVERY room I enter. It's a little more work when building but it much more fluid when playing.

especially since you spawn without a flashlight after you die and may need to get around in these things at night. I've spent quite a bit of time in game trying to find some kind of light source inside people's creations lol

Yeah I clicked on the video because of that thumbnail and then as it was loading for even more excited as I realized it was a new episode.

The iron lung would've been a lot easier for you to navigate and understand if you play the actual game that its from, its really beautifully made and almost perfect to the game, even the looks of the interior

8:32 yeah for the $10k it costs you can get a better suited starter boat, also fuel tank small.

This game is made by the same team that made Carrier 2? Would it not be awesome to have a playmode on an "open" campaign world, where Players join factions in a kind of milsim way? If it feels like something between PlanetSide2, Carrier 2, Foxhole and one of those more realistic MilSim games, where you can contribute your blueprints for your comrades to build in conquerable facilities I would definitely buy it!
